A hotel outside of the city centre
S0phie848on 03/04/2016 13:01I have booked the hotel to be close to the railway station (North) due to my late arrival in the city. Please be aware that there are two railway stations in Nanjing (North and South).
I have booked the hotel through a hotel booking website. The website describes the location of the hotel as a 10 minute walk from the train station but in fact it is a walk of around 40 minutes. The hotel should not be associated to the train station because it is in fact around 2 km away! The bus 13 will take around 10- 15 minutes from the train station/ subway station (Train Station North stop) to the hotel. I would like to share the correct information with other travellers.
Furthermore, the staff can hardly speak English in case any travellers require any detailed information about the city. However, I had a clean and spacious hotel room on the top floor. The internet was working well when I stayed there. It is a good value place to stay.
Luxury at a low price but low quality wifi
Allen Aon 04/04/2014 09:51Nice 8th floor room with large, opening corner windows (2), large bed, big shower but very small flat screen TV (20 inch). Oddly, the shut off the power in the room at 9am on the morning we were to leave.
The WiFi is very poor, reception or band narrow and basically unusable for that reason I rated it lower.
Excellent Hotel and exceptional value

We stayed for 4 nights
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first room at the front was noisy at night as building work was occurring over the road. The staff immediately changed our room and the second room on the 7th floor at the rear was spacious and very quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I have no complaint at all. The cost at £18 per night was ridiculously cheap
