The thing I liked most is how the hotel is one of the tallest building in the area, and that my room was high enough (10th floor) to get nice air and wind circulation at night.
The hotel claims a 5-star status. I give it 4 at best. You'll agree the moment you walk in and talk to the front desk. No greetings from the doorman, no smile, its miserable. People are smoking near the lobby. I also feel that they dont have enough elevators. I moved my bed to be closer to the window and found a piece of trash under the bed. The worst thing is there's a construction site right next to the hotel (sort of a community mall by the looks of it) and they started working since 6 am. I can hear some hammering and sawing in the room. The breakfast was ok. I asked a waitress for a coffee, she couldnt speak English, so she just looked away!!?? Luckily her friend understood 'coffee' so she served it to me. I also used the laundry service which the checklist promises that will be delivered before 7pm. At literally 7pm I had to go out for a dinner and it wasnt there so I had to ask the front desk about it. They only said they will bring it to my room right away and that was it, no apologies. Theres also some confusion in the morning of the checkout. After 5 minutes of trying to make sense of what the front desk lady wants, it turns out she is talking about returning the deposit.

Stayed for two days in this hotel for business meeting. Very neat rooms and hotel easily fetch 4stars. Breakfast and buffet lunch was good as well, variety dishes. One must try yoghurt in Yangzhou, hotel serve very good brand as well. Diary products in this city and hotel are great. Recommend this hotel even for couple or family booking as well.

Good hotel overall, have all of the expected amenities as a typical western 4-star class hotels. Clean, comfortable, has good restaurants that servers authentic Yangzhou style food. Some previous review mentioned dirty store and bad looking area with dirty carpet/chair, I have not experienced any of these. Some store outside are undergoing renovation while I was there though.

This hotel it's not a 5 star.
The hotel it's located on a Main Street in Yangzhou , but it's in between some dirty stores and a bad looking area.
The restaurant has a dirty carpet , dirty chairs and service is very poor.
The rooms are small, dirty carpet , smelly bathroom, small shower.
If you are looking for a 5 star hotel , this is not a good option .

Stayed at this hotel, on 2 occasions, for a night each.
Rooms are clean, modern, comfortable and up-to-date with modern amenities.
Pillows are down filled, and bed can be a little hard for Western standard.
There is free WIFI, free coffee/tea, mini-bar (paid), free toiletries.
English channels on the TV are limited.
If you join as a member of Jinling Elite, you get a fruit platter on check-in.
Instead of buffet beakfast at the hotel, take a short walk (2 to 3-minutes) to a Chinese Dim-Sum place called Fuchun. This is a branch of the century old restaurant in downtown Yangzhou. No menus, you get served what is available, based on the number of heads.
Also, you can skip the hotel dinner. Take a short walk to where Fuchun restaurant is, and there are several good Chinese restaurants.
