Incredibly relaxing ryokan with unparalleled service!
wonderbergon 26/06/2017 03:00We spent two nights at Jinpyokaku to celebrate my wife's 30th birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay and the occasion as special as possible. We are back home and still dreaming of our heavenly onsen soaks (both in-room and public) and afternoon with the nearby snow monkeys. The meals were all exquisite works of art, beautifully presented with course after delicious course. Absolutely unforgettable experience - highly recommend!

nbauer21on 25/06/2017 01:09This was our FAVORITE place to stay in our month long trip of Japan. We stayed for 2 nights, anything less would not have been enough. It was worth every penny. Extremely relaxing. The staff was amazing and helpful. The food was some of the best we had in Japan. I loved the private onsen in our room. I can't wait to come back here one day! If I could rate this higher, I would. Perfect traditional Japanese ryokan.

Friendly, helpful staff. Every meal is scheduled so you never see another person staying at the Ryokan. Every meal is explained in detail and made from ingredients found from the area. They even picked us up from the train station.
We had a private LARGE bath fed from the hot spring in the room.We were in traditional Japanese style room which was beautiful and it had all the modern touches needed.
A nice relaxing break after a hectic busy week in Tokyo. We can not wait to come back and see these wonderful people and this beautiful Ryokan.
PS the food us unreal
An experience like no other
Itamark77on 16/06/2017 21:22We stayed in April 2017 and we had a wonderful experience. Everything from the moment we arrived till the moment we left was perfect. The food was the highlight of our stay, both dinner and breakfast. The open air onsen is a nice experience and the private onsen in the room is just what you need after a long day. The staff are so nice and friendly and they just add to the enjoyable stay. We recommend this for everyone who wants to experience a true authentic ryokan in Japan.
Magical Place
flamingojojo3on 30/04/2017 17:19What a wonderful place - so unexpected from the outside. You enter a truly magical world. The staff, food, accommodation and onsen are all without fault. We were a family of 8 and we had private dining - they accommodated our every need and wish including allergies and preferences. So helpful for our trip to see the Snow Monkeys and the Hakusai museum.
Truly amazing place. I would love to return one day
