Excellent private hotel close to the centre of the city.
Nigel Aon 30/07/2014 19:56The hotel is situated on the upper floors of a very attractive building at the quiet end of Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street. As long as you do not mind all the steps up to reception level, the effort is worthwhile, as charming, smiley staff really did all work very hard to make my stay a very comfortable one.
Bedrooms are clean, bright and modern and the excellent breakfast is served in a very cosy room with an atmospheric old fireplace.
Well recommended, as every staff member puts on over 100% effort to make it work.
Very nice boutique hotel
DanC-in-USAon 30/09/2013 19:40This is a very nice hotel that is well situated for most of this towns scenic sights. It is a cheap taxi ride from the train station.
I had a single room. It was quite comfortable. The bed room and bathroom were very clean. For a single person, the room was very spacious.
The hotel is located on a pedestrian mall with many places to eat and drink. The roomrate included breakfast which was quite adequate. Porridge or eggs cooked to order were available.
The front desk staff speak english well.
Happy to recommend this hotel and would stay here again if in town.
Tremendous

Great location, nice staff
markk50_33on 17/01/2013 15:53This boutique hotel is on the first and second floor in a historical house at the beginning of the pedestrian street. Staff was very helpful and spoke good English, breakfast was good and the rooms had everything I expected. All in all a nice place to stay.
Small hotel with a great location
Alexey_from_Moscowon 10/11/2012 08:26The absolute advantage of the hotel is the location. It's situated at the beginning of the central Pokrovka Street, surrounded by many cafes and restaurants. The staff at the reception is very helpful.
I can't say that the room was great - not too big and required some renovation, especially the bathroom. I'd give 4 out of 5 for the room itself.
However, the overall impression was very positive.
Some points to consider:
1. Junior Suites are different in size. Some of them are missing yellow ducks in the bathroom (a little toy which is absolutelly useless...but funny). We booked 3 rooms and the room of my colleague was about twice bigger for the same price. It's not a mistake - the hotel is situated in the old buiding and all rooms are different.
2. There is no elevators (not a big deal for me, but can be an issue for someone else).
