4 star room but B&B quality bathroom
scotdoc2015on 29/05/2017 20:48Walking distances are vast here. Watch out for the windy weather...sand storms.
This city was designed with car travel in mind, NOT walking. Currently city is like a mini early version of Dubai.
Free water bottles provided.
Feels odd to enter a 4 star hotel via an ordinary double glazed house style door!
Reception staff are polite but ill informed. Not well aware of touristic sites.
Toilet - you wished you were back at home! Only single items provided eg towels, toilet roll (make sure it doesn't run out!)
Kettle provided but no tea, milk, cups, spoon etc.
Hotel corridors are completely dark and only lit by motion sensors
TV channels not agreeing with displayed list...poor englsh channels choice.
Good hotel near centre
Justin Jon 17/05/2017 18:58Good hotel near the centre and major attractions. Breakfast is rich and tasty, rooms clean and spacious. Unfortunately it does not have a swimming pool included, only for extra charge at the nearby spa.
Rude staff and amenities not up to the standard
globtravel2017on 04/05/2017 07:29The reception staff is very rude and do not follow the international standards of customer service and etiquette. Hotel amenities are sub standard and service is poor. Unclean and unhygienic toilets add to the discomfort.
Good Business Hotel
Justus Ion 25/02/2017 09:59The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and the kitchen makes good Kazakh food (less so with dishes like pasta). Try the Kazakh Lamb Kebab, very good!
The hotel is close to two big shopping malls and the front desk easily and quickly calls a taxi to anywhere else in the city. The front desk staff go out of their way with unusual requests and do their best to accommodate foreigners.
Good place!
Maxim Gon 28/06/2016 04:36If there is no place in Hilton across the road, Jumbaktas (Zhumbaktas) Hotel is a pretty good place to stop.
Well made interior, very large rooms, good bed, nice bathroom and very nice breakfast!
I've stayed there for one night and there is actually nothing wrong with this place! And I am Hypercritical, you know :)
