Wonderful place!
956alexison 24/07/2017 14:31We would definitely return! The place is situated perfectly in front of east Rapti river with views of Chitwan national park. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The food was always delicious. It's a nice base for exploring Sauraha. However, what made our stay better was the staff. Sitaram, Prabin, Bikram, Suman (x2), and Keshab, every single one of them made us feel at home!

Linda Con 20/07/2017 00:44Excellent location right on the Rapti River with great views. Beautiful glowing sunsets across the river. Your eyes constantly searching for wild animals coming to the riverside to drink. A short walk at 10 am to bathe the elephants and BE bathed by the elephants if you so desire. The room was good, basic with hot water and air conditioning. WiFi was free and good We slept well. Large dining room with good menu. Veggie burger was very good as was the rest of their food. Easy walk to shopping and center. Manager was very pleasant and attentive. Bikram Budhathoki our guide was great, professional and knew his jungle! He was detailed on our tours and we didn't miss a thing. I came with my 21 year old grandson and they were immediately good friends. It was so much fun .I miss the peaceful canoe ride on the river and the HUGE crocodile plunging into the river next to us. The birds are diverse and colorful and Bikram knew them all. There are many activities here, Elephant tour through the jungle where we saw at least 10 or more Rhinos, Jeep safari and more. Tell them I said hello and have a blast!
Not a good experience! Avoid this place If you want to sleep well.
shawnc715on 23/05/2017 02:27很糟糕的住宿經驗！冷氣壞了，吹出來都是熱風。整夜睡不著且員工也不願意換房間給我們，早上主管來我發現其他間冷氣是正常的，完全不值得這個價錢。Air condition is broken on one of my stay, not out of electricity since fan is still working. Temperature is almost 40 degree C in the room. Staff is willing to help but actually do nothing, he refused my request when I ask for changing a room at about 1am.I end up did not sleep all night. At 5 am manager came and I found out AC going well in other rooms. Trust me, you have better choice rather than this place.
Quiet, Helpful base from which to explore Chitwan National Park
Scott Aon 03/05/2017 03:26The hotel is directly across the river from the park, an easy walk to watch the daily bathing of the elephants as well as to the river crossing and canoes for safaris inside the park and along the river. The staff spoke English and was experienced and very helpful in arranging all my tours and even booking tickets back to Kathmandu by airplane or bus. It is a short walk to the center of Sauraha with its restaurants, coffee shops and souvenirs. I truly enjoyed my stay there, especially watching birds and deer along the opposite shore of the river every morning and evening. The restaurant menu was simple but very good and breakfast either a buffet style or set menu depending on number of guests, but all of it good.
The shuttle provides pick up from the bus but you need a taxi for the airport.

Piotr Bon 27/04/2017 11:11Very nice location just next to the river. Food was ok but breakfast can be served hot (potatos ans eggs). Guides are very nice, helpful and profesional. Rooms are ok but bathrooms can be cleaner and more cosy. Good place for reasonable price.
