Super, excellent and close to beach

Super, excellent and close to beach. Food great, service friendly. Close to nice restaurants and shopping street. Great for sail boarding, seadoo jet ski and boating. Close to sightseeing of the caves.

Expected much more of a 4 star

Good:
- location
- location
- friendly staff, except for the bar
- nice, clean rooms

Bad:
- our room was not properly soundproofed, especially toward the corridor (first floor, see view). We were fine with the noise from the swimming pool and the music every evening, but not the noise from the corridor early mornings.

Annoying:
- I don't like to be charged for using an in-room safe (2€ per night + deposit)
- I don't like to be charged for having a kettle in the room (10 €)
- I don't like to wait over an hour to have an iron in my room, which btw cannot stay in the room for long

Just returned from another wonderful stay at Jupiter Hotel Algarve. Hotel Excellent / Friendly and efficient staff / Cleanliness of hotel in all areas / Good food and ideal location to the beautiful beach just across from hotel / Highly recommend will return again

Family holiday in Praia da Rocha

The staff are all very friendly, the prices good, the facilities too.

Sometimes you just know if the staff will be bad or good and the staff were always more than helpful and friendly.

The breakfast has all you need and a chef to do anything you want (which we didn't need). Although I was once told to return the sparkling water back to the buffet zone (which I promptly did after emptying it).

The snack and drinks prices are all very well priced.

The rooms are good as is the air con, although personally I find the beds a bit too firm.

Myself and my wife used and enjoyed the spa.

If I had one complaint it would be with the entertainment. There's the same guy banging out the same songs every night from approx 11 - 12am. Personally I would rather not hear his voice squeezing out notes ever again at 200 decibels.

Oh and the location is just by the beach, so ideal.

Overall a lovely hotel.

Without a doubt a magnificent Hotel. Only steps from the beach (literally) with most rooms affording a sea view. A very professional Spa and indoor Pool, converts to an outdoor pool in the summer. A comfortable bar with live music all year. Plus a dining room. Located right in the heart of Praia da Rocha. No wonder people return here year after year. We just love it.
