Amazing stay !
chaitrap2015on 15/08/2017 13:28Stayed at Kaav for 2 days. Well maintained property with great hospitality, fabulous food and super friendly staff.
I was amazed by the enthusiasm and energy of PK(Manager) and Ashwin(naturalist) !!
The duo have a flair for nature and well informed of the the habitat at Kabini as well as the national park.
Would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to explore nature!

Anend Con 27/07/2017 09:21Detour is always a good idea. i did a detour and took the Kabini route on our way back from Bangalore to Cochin. And i must say that was one of the best decisions i have made in recent times. we stopped at Kaav for 2 days stay and that completed our trip.
A contemporary, new era , well maintained place with all the facilities , courteous staff and the best homemade indian comfort food.what else can you ask for?
With just 2 tents and 4 rooms you feel at home and the environment is calm and serene just near the forest reserve. A complete get away from hectic work schedule and busy and polluted city life.
Will highly recommend and definitely going back next season.
Beautiful place to unwind, friendly and amazing staff
apoorva_02on 27/07/2017 07:08Kaavs is the perfect getaway for those looking for some peace and quiet. It has a quaint set up and beautifully designed rooms. The poolside area and viewing deck is perfect for reading, sketching, and enjoying the views! The breakfast, lunch and dinner spread was delicious and cooked with love. PK and the entire team are very accommodating with personalized requests, and are super friendly, helpful and professional. It felt like a home away from home.

Not really a "safari" surrounding. WiFi a niet slow.
Excellent establishment close to national Park
Karin Ton 14/07/2017 08:04KAAV Safari Lodge has 4 rooms and two tents. The large staff is there to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The check and his team in the kitchen prepared special non-spicy meals for us. We can especially recommend their lamb with mashed potatoes.
If you want to go for a safari your wake up call is promptly at 5. 30 am and you can ask for tea or coffee or some toast with jam and butter to get you started. A jeep will bring you to the safari tour organizer and will pick you up once you return from the jungle with pictures from the abundant wild live.
The lodge is very clean, the rooms are very large and we enjoyed the view from the huge windows. You can leave the screen doors open at night to enjoy the night sounds from the nearby jungle. Unfortunately the owner had family and friends over at our last night and the noise and music forced us to keep the doors closed as their reunion took place underneath our balcony.
We thoroughly enjoyed the seating area with the large day bed on top of the room with its wonderful view and peacefulness.
EVERYONE was very helpful and polite.
