Fantastic Hotel, Brilliant Food, Very Friendly Staff, Very Clean

Great Location. I stayed Half Board with my Partner and Daughter, the choice of food in the restaurant was amazing, the hotel spotlessly clean our bedroom although it was an economy room was very clean and adequate. The maid came in every day and changed the bedding and towels. The staff at the poolside bar were brilliant, they were friendly and nothing was to much for them. I cant fault this hotel and will definitely recommend it. The children played nicely in the pool there were no yobs shouting and swearing around the poolside like you sometimes see in other hotels.
Each evening in the restaurant there was a choice of food to suit all nationalities and you could eat as much as you wanted. The hotel was nice and cool considering it was over 30 degrees celcius outside. Money well spent and a holiday not to forget.

Lovely hotel room nice and clean. Food is really good .staff very helpful and friendly .a very good family hotel .everyone speak s English which is a great help . Needs a bit more entertainment though. No good if you want to play bingo

The Hotel Kaktus was an excellent hotel. the pool and hotel facilities were great, the pool bar and lunch food was excellent and the pool surroundings very relaxing. The Restaurant food offered a huge choice and great quality. Very friendly and efficient staff. The room was very clean and we had a balcony with sea views. The premium room offered free wi fi and free use of beach, towels, beds and sun parasol. Bathroom a little small and we found the beds a little hard for us, but acceptable and probably fine for others. Overall an excellent hotel, I would highly recommend.

Nice hotel at good location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast

Last April we went for a business trip to Barcelona. In 2016 we already stayed at Kaktus Playa with friends and were surprised by the friendly staff, good service and excellent breakfast, so we decided to book this hotel in Calella instead of an expensive hotel in Barcelona. In August we returned again for one night and we are already planning our next trip with the family next year!

Wonderful staff - we had a brilliant holiday

Came here for a week in July - I don't say this often about hotels but we would definitely come back here! It is true what people say about the rooms not being as modern as the rest of the hotel, but they were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Our balcony overlooked the pool area, which was great one evening when they had a band playing by the pool and we could watch from our balcony.

What really made the holiday the best for us was the bar staff - absolutely lovely. They make THE BEST caipirinhas and will deliver them to your sun lounger. They were great value and it was also super handy being able to add the bill to our room. We were also pleasantly surprised when we left that our tab wasn't too expensive at all!

On the third day of our holiday, my (now) fiance surprised me by proposing on the beach at sunrise. When they bar staff found out they couldn't have been lovelier and brought us a couple of drinks to celebrate. This made us feel really special and made for a wondeful holiday.

The pool area must get a mention too - really nice and we never struggled to get a sun lounger. We liked to grab one up by the jacuzzi as these got the sun in the afternoon.
