wickladyon 06/07/2017 13:22Return visit. Even better this time. Food fantastic. A wide range of fresh foods to suit everyone. Book a table at the a la carte restaurant for wine pairing or just a romantic al
fresco meal and then wander back over and up to the quiet bar at the top for a few drinks. Plenty of spaces near the pool and there are activities for those that want to do them. We did the island walk and made our way to the lighthouse. Another day we found the bay with a bar/restaurant. Just had a beer but the food looked and smelt delicious. We had promised ourselves we would go on the Montenegro trip. We were warned that passport control can take ages. We were on the coach waiting for over an hour so beware and make sure you are prepared for this. However it was well worth the hassle for us. Another trip worth going on is the wine train. This takes you through lots of vineyards where you get to taste their wines and they also give you some food to eat. Cheese, bread, salad, crackers and crisps all served with wine under a shady area. Dubrovnik is a must see either by day or night.
Again I can't fault this hotel or the excursions. Croatia is a lovely country with lovely people and well worth a visit.

Gemma Gon 06/07/2017 11:53Our first trip to Croatia and it did not disappoint!! This hotel is absolutely fantastic!! Picturesque, stylish and generally perfect. We booked a junior suite, it was stunning. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and contemporary. The view from our balcony was amazing. We had a free mini-bar daily which was a godsend after a long day. The hotel grounds are beautiful, extremely clean and tidy. The staff are wonderful, so polite and nothing is too much trouble. The food is to die for, the drinks are all branded and they make some fabulous cocktails!! The weather was also wonderful and sunbathing is not a problem with so many sun beds. They have an A La Carte Fresco and Al Fresco Restaurant, both are amazing, you just need to book in advance a couple of nights before. The boat to and from Dubrovnik is great and very cheap, as is everything really. Dubrovnik is fantastic, I would highly recommend the walls walk, the cable car and harbour but wherever you go and whatever you do it will be brilliant. All in all a fantastic holiday, highly recommend on all counts and would definitely go back. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our holiday perfect.
Fantastic hotel for relaxing

The food and drink choice was excellent, the staff were definitely happy to help.
Lovely walks around the island, so peaceful and I felt so relaxed.
Didn't want to leave there.

RobandHon 04/07/2017 19:35Lovely hotel, room was excellent great balcony. The food was very good and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The island is traffic free and really nice to walk around at night breathing in the clean air. There is a really convenient ferry service into Dubrovnik port from where it is really easy to get the local bus to the old town.

Tripmonkey00on 04/07/2017 15:51this is a great hotel on a lovely island with great service, lovely staff and well kept rooms, a mellow, peaceful & relaxing hotel, well run with lovely food & drink. the island itself is small and if you have the energy you can walk round to the other side and have a well deserved drink when you get to the bay! it is a car free paradise with only a couple of mopeds that are only used early evening, a definite must for a relaxing time.
