Hotel Kaliningrad

I spent 1 night in this hotel. Good location but the first glimpse of the hotel solid heavy building reminded of the former Soviet times. My room was a standard business-class room and I was pleasantly surprised when I entered. Renovated recently, with a balcony, spacious, with all needed available (incl. a hairdryer). A comfortable bed. The minibar was empty but there was 2 bottles of water on the table, complementary. Very good breakfast. Perfectly working wifi. Professional staff, hospitable and smiling. I liked my stay.

Solid hotel in central Kaliningrad. Short hike to city centre, and close to Kant cathedral, parks, boatmuseum and the (unused) parlament. Friendly staff who spoke excellent English. Wifi worked in room. All in all, great for a eastern European hotel.

quality not like that before

all room was old, security and reception oksana were good. oksana was friendship. i stayed 2 night and i did not wash my face and body last day. because water was problem. water came a little and with Rusty. I did not like reception girl action. i will not stay one more time. this hotel has not got Customer satisfaction!

horror hotel kaliningrad

we stayed this hotel for 2 days and 2 diffirent room. first day the room had not got towel, hairdrier. the room was very old design. Taps and bathrooms are very old. second day other room. We chose the studio room, this room like that other room. in the morning i wanna wash my hand and my face. i could not because water did not come, i waited 2 hours later i tried again and this time water came little and with rusty water. i had not wash my face and shower.really i was angry, i went reception and i told big this problem.and i wanted to return my money, i visited kaliningrad for two days for business, My time was valuable. the reception girl told me , i spoke with my manager , we will not return your money , and she continued, you could change your room. this is your problem. i will not stay this hotel one more time.. i will write everywhere. their work , supine and silly. i paid 9000p. my moneys gone to the trash.

Good hotel in great location

I stayed for two nights at the Hotel Kaliningrad, it really is in a great location, very close to the main sights and just over the road from a shopping centre with a supermarket. My room looked like it had just been refurbished, it was very clean and had a fridge, hairdryer, toiletries, a safe and two complimentary bottles of water. I really wanted to give five stars in this review but just a couple of things stopped me; the wifi was very intermittent, it worked well by the lifts and in the lobby so I think just a problem with the room set-up, their was no shower curtain and while I really enjoyed the breakfast I would advise going early as items didn't seem to be refilled after 8.30am even though it's on until 10am.
However, if I ever go back to Kaliningrad I would definitely stay here again!
