What a lovely place and helpful staff.
HalzBoston_Maon 03/08/2017 00:14What a change from Moscow. This place is on a side street with immediate access to restaurants and stores. It's a few blocks away from the rail station and the subway. But, we did mostly walking. We even walked to the Hermitage Museum. Not to be missed. A suggestion: Find on the internet the "miss the line tour. When the museum opens at 10am, the floodwater gates are open and the musem become almost unpassable. Incredible art, but too many people. The Kamerdiner was awesome. With afternoon pasteries and a very large room. Worth another stay when we come back to St. Petersburg
A gem in central St. Petersburg
Daniel Bon 27/06/2017 17:36Absolutely worth what you pay. The free room upgrade may be influencing my decision a bit, but the 'standard' rooms looked just as comfortable, only smaller. Bonus points for lovely gesture from the staff for gf's birthday. Breakfast in the room if desired at no extra cost. Tea and ice-cream at any time to the room at no extra cost. Discounts for some nearby restaurants available from hotel. I mean, wow!
If I had to be critical, I would have a few qualms over the quality of some breakfast ingredients, but that may just be me being picky in terms of taste preferences. However, this did not affect the quality of my stay. Indeed, for the price paid, value for money was through the roof. Really, all very impressive. Would (will!) stay again, and recommend to all who want a pleasant, comfortable, well-looked after (only if desired, of course) stay.
Didn't stay here, but must praise the staff!
Grace Mon 21/06/2017 22:32I did not end up staying at this lovely hotel, but I must praise their staff/service to the skies. I arrived in St. Petersburg late in the evening and was "stood up" by my Airbnb host. As I was trying to figure things out, I wandered into this hotel to ask for help. The receptionist, Марина, was so incredibly kind! She worked through my language barrier (I don't know Russian at all), she set me up with wifi, made a phone call for me as my phone wasn't working, and since, there wasn't availability in the hotel for that night, called around to neighboring hotels to find vacancy because she didn't want to send a lone, young woman out wandering at night. I can only imagine their service must be phenomenal!
Wonderful stay!
Nathalie Don 11/06/2017 09:24Big thank you for Olga and the staff, they made us feel very welcome.
Great service and very friendly people. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
Breakfast is in your room or the lobby, you can choose which time.
The Nevsky Prospekt and metrostation is a 10 minute walk from the hotel, it's also
a small walk to the Moscow trainstation, where you van take the Sapsan highspeed train.
I would definitely come back!
The best service from any hotel
CharlotteKirschon 29/04/2017 09:39The hotel is located fairly well with a 5-10min walk to the main Nevsky prospekt street and metro stations.
The rooms were comfortable, warm and clean.
The service was beyond expectation though and why this hotel stands out among any I've stayed before.
Breakfast is ordered the night before and can be brought to your room whatever time specified. Staff are all friendly, welcoming and we were given Easter gifts after arriving on Easter Sunday.
The hotel was a pleasure and we'd return with no questions.
