ymhuangon 31/07/2017 12:20We seems have problem with Okinawa. Since 2015, we have different issues while traveling in Okinawa. This time, worst, my son (5 yrs old) get influenza and start high fever (>39C) while arrive the hotel. As you can image, foreigner family, doesn't understand Japanese, no local friend, and need help there.
Thanks to Nakamura-san and employees. They helps me find the right hospital to get medical support immediately. While I decide to back to my country, and need another hotel close to OKA airport, Nakamura-san and the team helps me again, and find a nice hotel for me.
It is appreciated to having Nakamura-san and the team while you're facing a terrible situation. Thank YOU very much.

Good resort with excellent service
ChristineHWLon 10/12/2016 12:53I will like to comment the staffs that help us tremendously at this huge golf resort on 6th December 2016. We are there to see the lights illumination for xmas but we could not find the place that we wanted to go. We have been waking around for more than 20 mins and we finally went back to our car to try to drive around. There we saw a staff parking a buggy and asked him for help. Although his English is not fluent he tried his best to help us and even bring us to the reception for a map around the resort. Another staff there at the entrance ask him to drive us there in their air conditioned car as a service. Mind you we are not even guest of the hotel and they went all the way out to help us. We are very touch and I will stay in this hotel if I'm back in Okinawa because of their service: the staff are professional and smiley throughout and never let us felt that we are unwelcome. To the person that comment that cab fare is expensive; it's known in Japan that cabfare are expensive to everywhere and they should have research on Okinawa to rent a vehicle before their trip.
Nice resort but inconvenient location
GoldenPigson 29/11/2016 09:20It was a big mistake booking this hotel without a rental car.
Taxi cost almost $240 from the airport and going out anywhere from the resort was $50-100 in a taxi.
Room was big and nice with a jacuzzi and a beautiful view to the ground and sea.
The Christmas decoration was a nice touch in the garden.
It's a huge turn off though they charge in-house guests for using their gym, swimming pool n a slow buggy to get around.
Hotel staffs in general do not speak good English and don't seem to have much idea about their own hotel nor care much about guests wellbeing.
Though I can't thank you enough for 6 stars service we experienced at the steakhouse. Staffs are all nice and Mr. Kaju or Kadu couldn't do enough for us when they were a full house to find us a table.
Would I recommend this resort? No....I'm sure there are other resorts in Okinawa with better service, food and location.
Tired resort
Koen Ron 20/08/2016 06:58Kanucha is ok if you want to play golf for a day or two. For the rest there are better options. On general the resort is a bit secluded, a world on its own. We were "upgraded" to a newly refurbished room. It certainly was spacious, clean and had 2 mammoth TV screens. Good beds but bathroom was tired and old, and 3 cabinet doors were broken. The toilet was a sauna. As the resort is huge golfcarts are used to move around but Kanucha should think of using electric ones over current 2-tact gasoline ones; they're utterly noisy and smelly. Breakfast is a buffetstyle with way too much choice, but the breads were so so. Found it a beat greasy. All in I think it's a tad too expensive for what it is., didn't feel wowed.
a laid back condominium style resort
Victoria Ron 20/07/2016 22:21The rooms are almost like private apartment with deck jacuzzi and wide bathrooms. They however had only one restaurant operations and you have to wait long time to get a table. There is also only one small convenient store with limited and pricy display. To explore other food options a car is needed to get around the area. It's a good value for money kind of place but that's it.
