Really intestering, peaceful hotel
jemb2012on 15/06/2016 17:43Spent one night here as part of a work trip to the area. Good value hotel and decent breakfast. Booked a single room but ended up with a large twin with huge en-suite. Very clean and modern interior, great views from the front. Helpful and friendly staff.

Ideal hotel for short stay. Rooms very basic, but the place has a charm. The breakfast was very nice.Would recommend for short stay.
Excellent hotel, very reasonably priced, great views
Chris Won 27/01/2015 23:59Stayed just one night as part of a business trip. Didn't know what to expect on arrival so surprised to see how large this hotel is. Everything looks very new so must have recently been refurbished. Room accommodation was excellent and for the price (very good breakfast buffet included) it was very reasonable. Great views from the front of the hotel. Free wifi included. Pay a visit to the small beer cellar for a great weiss beer (if you can find it that is). A clue .... keep heading downstairs.
Great hotel great value
John Mon 22/09/2012 21:15I stopped in this hotel last week the staff were extremely helpful would definitely stop here again. Great views from the front of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was very good, a great selection of food from meats, fruit to cheeses.
Spartan but Comfortable
growler69on 01/06/2010 02:07Attended a small medical conference here for a few days in May. The hotel is indeed in an old religious building, still used for some religious purposes. The rooms are very basic, only a crucifix hanging on the wall, and the beds are twins. Rooms are relatively small, but was more than adequate for me. Despite looking austere, the bed was actually very comfortable. Broadband wireless available in room. About a 10 minute walk to the local bus/tram station, where you can go into Cologne ( about 30 mins) or other local connections. Nice biergarten on property and the views from the front porch are tremendous - commanding view back of Cologne. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
