We stayed here for a night during a travel through the France. The owners were kind, the room wide and clean, the same was the bathroom. We had a triple room and it was very large. The breakfast was rich and various with fresh bread, home made marmelade, different types of cheese and ham.

I stayed one night at the Kastelberg whilst working locally. Having tried many other hotels in the area, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Located at the edge of the village with a large car park, the hotel has a mix of different room types all named after local wines. My room, a Gewürztraminer, was very generously sized with two single beds pushed together along with a sofabed. The bathroom was large with a tub and shower and the bedroom had a balcony with seating overlooking the front of the hotel. Being located on the Alsace Wine Route, the hotel is clearly very busy and a coach party were staying at the same time as my visit, but despite this the hotel and room were quiet and I enjoyed an undisturbed night's sleep.

Very friendly owners & staff. Nice dining/breakfast-room. Good food. The room itself was a bit outdated, but the clean beds were great. The room we slept in could need an update. Nothing wrong with outdated rooms though, as long as the rest makes up for it. And, it did. Like I said; nice, friendly & helpful owners. The only thing that's missing in my opinion, is a 'bar' or 'place' were you can relax and have a drink before (& after) you go to dinner. Read a book or something. That felt a bit uncomfortable.

We stayed for one night on our trip along the Alsatian wine route. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Generous breakfast buffet. The view from our room was idyllic, out over the vineyards. Staff very friendly. Parking on site.

Such a pretty hotel and village. Stayed one night. Warm welcome and lots of parking. Rooms were also pretty but no air con so very hot. I was able to leave the balcony door open and room became much cooler. Others in the party only had a window and they did struggle with the heat. My only complaint would be the road noise. I have no idea where all the cars were going in this pretty little village but the road was like a rat run all night so I barely slept. I have no problem with going back to stay but would definitely need ear plugs. Breakfast was continental and very good
