What People are saying
quaint n enjoyable stay
mordecai12on 12/12/2016 15:14Chanced upon this onsen ryokan whilst researching on Ise Shima. All i can say is it's a gem. Lots of aged workers but they are very cute and welcoming. Even at the pier, the boatman was waiting and watching out for us coz we only reached the pier at about 4 pm. ("R u from Singapore ?" the boatman yelled when we got out from the taxi ) We stayed for three nights. The onsen is good. This is a ryokan patronised by Japanese only. Although it seems a remote place the onsen hotel is very well patronised when we were there. We didn't see any international tourist. Although almost no English is spoken by the staff, the service and hospitality is the standard Japanese quality which is very good. Food provided is plentiful n hearty. A nice hotel to come back to after day trips to Toba, Okage Yokocho etc.
Ultimate Hospitality and Relaxation
xadiqon 20/11/2012 05:24My friends and I came here for a day-trip at the onsen. We took a boat to the island where the hotel/onsen is located. We were greeted by a very friendly lady staff who did everything she could to help us feel welcomed and with any queries we had that left us very impressed with what we felt was the highest service levels we experienced anywhere before. The food which comprised mostly seafood did not disappoint as it was all fresh and tasty. Last but definitely not least, the onsen itself was an open outdoor concept, just what we were looking for. There's seperate areas for the ladies and gentlemen. We were very lucky to have the entire place to ourselves so we could take our time and feel much at ease. We did not manage to check out the rooms or other amenities as we only signed up for the onsen + lunch package, but it's something we certainly are looking to check out the next time we visit this place. Overall, we left the place feeling extremely relaxed but wishing that we did stay for at least a night.
