Airport stay made easy

Kegworth House is a great little place to stay if you are flying from East Midlands. It's in a convenient location less than 5 mi away from the airport. The rooms are clean and well decorated and the staff are eager to please. Breakfast was really tasty and individually cooked - no buffet breakfast nonsense here. My only complaint was that we had to sleep with the windows open and we were disturbed a little by plane noise - no real surprise so close to the airport

From initially meeting Karen upon checkin you felt at home, we were led to room 2 which was perfect for what we wanted, Karen had warned me reference the low beam in the room but as always I don't heed warnings and needles to say I'm wearing a bump, the bed was very comfortable and after a long day dancing my weary festival bones to dust it was much needed, the shower room was large and the little complimentary toiletries were a lovely touch, breakfast was included and I must say the chef (peter Andre) that's what the other half named him, rustled up the most delicious offerings, just what the day ahead needed, all in all one of the nicest,friendliest,cleanest places I've ever stayed, we have already booked for next year as we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Thankyou Karen and the team and Barney the cockapoo.

Perfect for business or pleasure

Kegworth house is a great place to stay. Tucked away close to Kegworth centre, it's very friendly, with a high level of service and ideal for business or pleasure. This B&B is more like a small hotel and always top of my list in the Kegworth/Donnington area.

Beautiful place to stay

A warm an friendly welcome greets you at this beautifully maintained house.

Our room was the right mix of mod cons with traditional features and immaculately clean; a comfortable bed afforded a good sleep. The bathroom was huge with a roll topped bath and rainfall shower, unfortunately at 6' tall I was unable to stand beneath the fixed shower head so it was a bath only for me. My friend at 5'9" struggled with the shower height too but did manage to have a satisfactory wash.

Breakfast is a must here! The chef and his assistant are fantastic, as we were leaving very early we were the only guests in the breakfast room at that time which meant we had a lovely relaxed chat with them both. A delicious fruit salad started the day and we were set up for a long day with a lovely cooked breakfast.

Sadly we only needed to stay one night ; we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely venue and owners nothing too much trouble

We recently held a two day study day at Kegworth House and also have regular meetings there as well. Since the new owners took over it in November 2016 it has been fantastic. They have catered for all of our needs, we held a fantastic two day conference there, and the evening meal and conference dinner was superb.

The bedrooms are also beautiful and tastefully decorated, everyone in our group commented on the comfiness of their own beds and the breakfast was hearty and filling.

I can not fault them on their attention to detail and the fact that they go over and above to help you and make your meeting/conference/stay and enjoyable one.

I am so pleased that we found this little gem in Kegworth and hope to carry on doing business with you for many years to come. Thank you all for your hard work on making sure that everything is perfect every time we come.
