It is nice clean not all inclusive meals and drinks
The price of food is really expensive much more than any one expecting
It is also boring no activités for children
I think it is the best hotel in Dead Sea Jordan but they have to study the value of money for guests

A good hotel in the dead sea area

This is probably the best hotel to stay in the dead sea, but also the most expensive one.

Pros:
The hotel offers multiple pools and a good spa as well. The service was above standard and the Lady in red guest relations is fantastic, you truly feel they go the extra mile for your even if you're at the dead sea covered in mud, they will find you and follow up with you whatever you asked them previously.

Cons:
BE AWARE that the hotel does not allow any food or beverages from outside. This means if you get any alcohol from the duty free, you are not allowed to bring it in. The hotel manager at that time was kind enough to make an exception (after I signed a disclaimer) because we were celebrating an occasion. The problem is there is no way to know about this policy except on arrival, there's a notice outside the entrance of the hotel which is completely absurd. My advice is to put whatever you buy inside your suitcase. The thing is, this hotel policy (as the manager told me) is to force people to buy from the hotel, which is extremely expensive to do, and the drinks themselves are very poor. A couple of times I asked the bartender if he forgot to put the ingredients in our drinks. Restaurants are expensive as well and of average quality. You'll be better off trying the neighbouring restaurants, which are better and a lot cheaper.

Another thing is the hotel staff is overly kind, to the point where pretty much it's obvious they want a tip in return.

Overall I liked the hotel facilities, if not for the resort and pools I would have maybe lowered my rating.

About the pool staff

Honestly I am writing this review because an incident occurred while my friends and I were spending out Eid vacation in this amazing hotel , we were chatting on the side of the beautiful infinity pool and one of my friends was heading to the the other side of the pool and no one noticed that , apparently while she was crossing the pool she lost her balance ,in no time like literally in seconds the thing that grabbed our attention is the speed of the life guards that jumped into the pool and rescued our friend!it's amazing how they have noticed that she might have drowned in a glimpse of an eye , we were all amazed Even my friend after she has been pulled on the side of the pool her reaction was yes I was about to start panicking but you have rescued me in no time ! That was an incident to remember and to prove that this hotel has the best pool staff ever you feel safe and what you need to do is just to enjoy your time by the pool !
The temperature was too high ,however ,we kept getting the refreshing towels and the delicious fruit cuts from the sweetest and most professional staff.
Check in and getting the rooms was very smooth , and I have to say that this hotel has the cleanest rooms amongst hotels I need to thank the house keeping staff for making sure all is set in the room looking very tidy relaxing and clean ..
We know in Jordan we still need to work on the customer service and satisfaction but to be honest I can tell that in this hotel the staff are all well trained smiling all the time very polite people ,you literally get the relaxation you want in all aspects.
Thank you Kempinski for being a place worth such stay in Eid and all times .

This was the vacation we were looking for,Amazing hotel with the most beautiful views ever,every thing went more than well the time we checked in tell they farewell us after 3 amazing,unforgettable days..

Cleanliness is well noticed every where;rooms,landscapes and pools.we liked the turn over service they provides.

We spent most of the time at pools,the amazing Infinity pool with the most service oriented staff I ever met,very helpful friendly red shirt crew,,nice touch like (free cold water,fruits skewers and sunglasses clean service:)))...

Jalal & Mohd at the pool were amazing,Sultan gave my dad the best service at the beach,as we promised you guys we will come back very soon.

Strong sewege smell in the rooms, dirty bathroom but helpful staff

I booked 3 rooms (2 of which are connected) to spend a family vacation with my family. One of the rooms had a strong sewege smell, so the supervisor offred 2 different connected room which had the same problem (strong smell), I called the front desk and they offered another switch. After having the same smell in the 3rd time I called the front dest to check out as the smell was too strong to live with, that's when the night supervisor apologized and offered upgraded rooms with a different location away from the sewege system. The new rooms were nice, smell-free, but the trash can in the bathroom had dry feces on the outside!!!I had to call the house keeping to remove it since it was around midnight by then and we had no energy to start looking for a new hotel.
The breakfast was good with a variety of tasty options ( My favourite was white cheese pastry and straberry juice).
The kids activities are limited (their kids' club included) compared to other 5-star hotels in the area that I had a much better experience with like Crown Plaza.
Way overpriced (250 JDs a room /night compared to 160JDs for Crown Plaza, 140 JDs for marriot for the same period In July 2017)
The lady-in-red offered my 3 kids a camel toy each, and offered a late checkout (3pm instead of noon) which helped me feel a little better but not enough to erase the rest of the negative experience.
The staff (including the supervisors, housekeeping,...) are very helpful and everyone greets you with a smile and all te help they can offer.
Maybe we had a very bad luck with a series of bad events, but certainly will never stay there again. On the contrary, we had a very good experience in Kempinski of Aqaba/Jordan on a previous vacation 2 years earlier
