had the worse 5 star hotel experience ever! may be it used to be a good hotel but now it is sure NOT - - not even close to 5 star - may be 3+
started from the check in - rude and very unprofessional staff - they play game - not understanding the language - english - no, russian - no, german - no - well - i do not speak turkish - got check in at 3 pm!!!!!!!
rooms - air condition was broken - had to ask to fix it - they say we will make a note - really - a note at 40 C - had to make them to fix
roomservice - in 7 days we had our room cleaned 2 times!!!! and we left each day a note to clean our room!!!
we got check in the room with the view to the garbage and the road - great family sea vacation for 2000+$
internet - really - see pictures - no internet - edge is faster then their wifi.... and i had to pay for it 13 euros!!! more to it - if you want to download a file over night - forget it - they turn the wifi off!!!!!
free internet only in the lobby of the new building - and it is always packed as people have to stay connected!!! - this hotel management does not understand it!!!!
food - how do you like to eat meat substance? mackdonalds style - we had only chicken as a real meet and few times something like beef liver...
went to the ala carta restaurant - they served salad that is rotten and not salad leaves but stands!!! see picture attached
to reserve a restaurant you have to get up super early as machine starting to work at 6 am to book a seat for the next day at the restaurant and sure there will be a line of people at 5:30 am - so not sure if you can do it as seats are limited- the guest relation is right next to it but they refuse to help or to book manually
food is smelly and not tasting well!!!! - flies all over the place. picture attached.
beach - as dirty as you can thing off - - they do not clean it - well some at 10-11 a when all people are out
water - - they dump the suage right near he hotel and it comes back - the smell of pee was there every morning!!
and again about guest relation - if it were me - fire them - i had come there several time for the complains and for the help - they do not know how to service - we paid the money to relax and to rest not to fight for our necessities - -i would not probably write the review but the main guest relation lady - when i told her i could write a review said - i do not care - you will not harm us this way.... well i hope now i do!
We had a wonderful 4 days at the hotel with my family and friends. The scenery, rooms, restaurants, beach, pools, all of them were great. The hotel personel were quite helpful and warm. We will visit the hotel again as soon as possibl..
Hotel pricing and the service level reflect a truly mediocre experience.
- very well kept gardens and several beautiful trees
- high quality sunbathing areas and chairs
- nice pools and beach
- warm welcome, free upgrade to a suite without even asking for it
- service level goes way down after the reception, waiters and waitresses are not very professional, they address customers in slang words (ie dayi), they also keep chattering and joking in between themselves while people need help, all the personnel seemed to have got zero hospitality education
- rooms show age
- in order to swim, instinctively you go tothe beach, they say the towels are at the spa. You go to the spa, they say get a towel card from the reception. But they didn't mention any towel card when I checked in? So you end up going and swimming without a towel at a five star resort hotel.
- you have to wear a plastic bracelet at all times and this was very degrading plus uncomfortable
The hotel was extremely clean, the staff were always busy making sure it was always clean. The food was amazing and always fresh. Pool was very clean but very cold, once you were in it was fine, staff were very friendly! The reps were brilliant and the entertainment was fantastic! Thank you Kilikya Palace for a wonderful holiday!
I have stayed there during 3-9/9/2016 with my mother after long search of Kemer hotels. The hotel is one of the best as price wise and location.
The room was 4503 which is located at the new building and has double floor with a wonderful view. Our room has cleaned everyday, but sheets never changed. Since we have stayed there for 6 nights, I guess the towels have changed only twice. For the last 2 days housekeeping haven't change the towels but took some and didn't add more.
The only ridiculous and bothering thing is air conditioning effects by the balcony doors. If you don't close the balcony doors properly (nice and with a proper speed) the air conditioning never works that's why I had troubles for the last 3 nights; I couldn't sleep well because upstairs became like hell. I have tried several opening and closing but never worked out so I gave up. Thank god that I have asked for 2 separate beds at downstairs at the very beginning, so I could sleep at next bed. Otherwise I would be a big headache for the hotel management. That's why, double floor wasn't effective for us.
The hotel has big pools, nice & long beach and very good landscaping. They have 2 pool bars and you can take your beverages over there. There are also washing machine in the bars, so all glasses and dishes are washing in the machines not by hand, which is very important due to hygienic matters.
Music is not loud at the pool side so you can relax or listen to your own music if you want to.
The beach was clean, has sand and pebbles mixture at the sea side. I have read that some of Turkish holiday-makers complained about it, but guys please, this is the nature of Kemer. Also there is a life guard is in charge for swimming safety.
You can take your towel from spa center with towel card and change them everyday for free.
Parasailing is available with a good price. You can also have 1,5 hours tour around with speed boat. The price was also acceptable.
We have stayed in the hotel as "all and ultra inclusive" based. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks were great and delicious. The beverages and alcohols are bottled which is very nice. You can have your alcohol without any second thoughts.
The staff was helpful, smiling and friendly. Thanks to all of them but especially thanks to Mr. Hikmet Anuş, who was serving during evenings at the main restaurant-1. He is skilled and nice person with smiling face and yearning for good service.
The hotel entertaining is very good for the families because of the understanding is first kids and then the adults.
During my stay I had trouble with sun allergy and went to doctor for a medical shot. It's very important to have a doctor & nurse for emergency, inside of the hotel. They linked to an outside hospital, they can give you invoice so you can take back your money from your private insurance company.
I would definitely prefer next time if I choose to stay in Kemer once again. I loved the place! Thanks for the nice holiday Kilikya Palace, I'll recommend to all friends and definitely I'll come back!
