A nice place, within walking distance

This little B&B isn't really located where you want to be in Cannes. It's a 15-20 minutes walk downhill to the beachfront. The price though, is far from the Cannes hotel prices and might be worth the walk.

The house is in a little rose garden and the setting is rather nice. Rooms are really nothing special, but some have cooking facilities and some have a nice little balcony. If you have breakfast there it is extra and brought by the morning staff.

Staff is nice and personal, since it is indeed a small place. The place has changed owners a time or two the last years and has yet to find that really familiar feeling. But it is overall a nice little place within ok distance from downtown Cannes.

A lovely find

I've been staying at various hotels in Cannes for the TV conferences for nearly 30 years. Not all stays have been as anticipated, so I am extremely pleased I've found this one. It's clean, in a quiet location. It's about a 20 minute walk to the Croisette or a €9 Uber and slightly more expensive taxi.

The room itself was plenty big enough with a small kitchen area along with a fridge & kettle. There is a Lidl just down the road for supplies. The bathroom is good and the shower is attached to the wall which the French seem to have a problem with in my experience. There is plenty of wardrobe space along with an iron and board. The air conditioning is quiet and efficient. There is a small TV but I didn't turn it on so can't say which channels are available. The wifi is free and very fast. The bed is quite small and whilst a double would be a tight squeeze for 2. It is also short so if you're over 6 foot you may find your feet 'over the edge'

I didn't see the staff as I arrived late at night and left early, but the room keys and instructions were left for me so it all went well. There is also a small/bar/breakfast area but it appears to open a bit later in the morning and close early in the evening so I didn't have a chance to use it. There is a outdoor sitting area and BBQ which I guess can be used by guests.

So overall a very pleasant stay and I would certainly stay again.

Nice apartment but not much service

We have stayed in a studio suite for 3 nights in March. The good things about the Kimi Residence are: the location, free parking, nice studio.
We arrived after opening hours of the reception. This was already mentioned at the moment of booking but I had not heard anything from the location as where to pick up the key. So 2 days before arrival I sent another message and this time they confirmed that the key would be at a location in the building. I am just wondering what would have happened if I had not send this message. In the apartment itself is an information sheet. There it states that with stays from 1-3 nights, there will be daily cleaning. Well, day 2, no cleaning, no clean towels. Day 3, no cleaning, no clean towels. No person around from the hotel around but I found someone in the hallway who knew where the towels were and got me some clean towels. Anyway, this is not the service I expect. Even if it is off-season and there are not many guests, you should still give the service.

It dripped from the air conditioning. Sofa is not suitable for two adults. The outdoor grill was uncleaned.

A parking place and Wi-Fi are free of charge. The hotel is located relatively close to the center.

Nice apartment, clean. Quiet and elegant area.

We have been at Kimi for 2 nights and we had a very good stay. The apartment was clean, modern, with one double bed and one sofa to sleep, one kitchen and bathroom. The area was nice, elegant, around 30 min walking to the center. Private parking and free internet wifi.
