Andrea Ton 28/05/2017 01:47Extensive array of noice (sic) food choices from the buffet. Not quite sure that this was what i was expecting however went with it. A somewhat limited array of vegetarian choices but fortunately I was able to tuck into some wonderful cheese and dessert choice was fabulous. Gorgeous view to accompany your food choices.

natdromon 16/05/2017 17:30Amazing location and very comfortable stay. Kims is the place to come to switch off, unwind and relax! Surprised that for what you pay, non alcoholic beverages aren't included - this is the reason for the 4 stars. Seafood on the buffet is superb, and very fresh! Lindt bunnies on Easter Sunday breakfast were a nice surprise
80's Buffet
atbloxon 07/05/2017 07:21We had the buffet lunch at Kim's yesterday, we were looking forward to an amazing meal having heard such great reviews.
Upon walking in, we were impressed with the amazing view but that's where it ended.
The menu was on the table looking more like a school mass booklet (blue A4 paper folded in half) rather than an impressive menu at a renowned restaurant.
We went to the buffet where we were immediately disappointed. A staff member was announcing the contents of the buffet with the signature dishes - Paella and Roast Lamb with hot chips - not quite the seafood buffet we were excitedly expecting.
Their salad consisted of a plate of ice berg lettuce leaves, sliced tomato and sliced cucumber on separate plates. It doesn't take much to put a simple yet delicious salad together in a bowl.
For $70 per person, this is a very disappointing over priced buffet probably better suited to the local RSL.
This place has so much potential, it needs to be dragged out of the 80's and brought into 2017.

Matthew Hon 06/05/2017 06:58Kims never ceases to please. The welcome from management, the friendly staff, the location on Toowoon Bay and of course the amazing food. We have been making our annual pilgrimage to Kims for years and will continue to do. It's heaven on earth.
Is the standard slipping?
elimattaon 03/05/2017 12:55We have stayed here several times over the past 10 years. In that time, the rooms don't seem to have been refreshed. Last time we stayed there, the menu seemed a bit tired too. The whole point is that it is traditional food, done well. The tradition stays but not quite so much the done well. Poor value for money now, sadly.
