Its simply a very very Classy Hotel with decent amenities
KankanKolkataon 06/05/2017 12:30During my leisure trip to mandarmani in last september along with family & friends I stayed here and I really found everything pretty close to perfection. well equipped rooms, toilet, amazing food, great behaviour from all the staffs, well maintained swimming pool . Being a hotelier I do take a close and analytical observation to everything hence this hotel is passed with letter marks in each and every aspect. all of us enjoyed our stay and had a great time there.
Far away from crowded beach
sougata4uon 17/01/2017 06:59Kings Crown is much better option if you want to stay away from crowded Mandarmani beach. Food quality is good, but it seems slightly over priced. I stayed here multiple times here. Upper floor rooms are better.
Had a very good stay
Krishna Sarbari Kon 31/08/2016 15:18Wonderful Stay !!! Just a bit far from the beach. The staffs are extremely cooperative and friendly. The swimming pool is extremely clean and the food served in the hotel is very tasty, but it is a bit more on the expensive side. Options for fish should be increased. Good stay nice clean hotel.
Good
Anirban Don 22/08/2016 19:11Hotel ambience is good.Room was cleaned. But all doors lock are totally bad. It should be changed. We went there on August 2016. Swimming pool water also very well. But there is no light in pool. Indors game only available caram.
Hotel customer service also very good.
Average stay, lacking in services and maintenance
Sayantan Jon 16/06/2016 09:59To start with, do not get carried away with the images posted in the website. They are probably old and had not been maintained up to the mark.
The good things about our stay was:
1. The rooms were really very spacious (we spent 2800 per night) and the beds were comfortable.
2. The pool is quite good and the water very clean and well maintained. Provided us the much needed fun and relaxing we were looking forward to.
Now the not so good things:
1. The food quality is average and you do not get half of the things. We kept asking and they kept saying No. To certain point we thought, "No" is their tagline.
2. The location too is also not so great. Quite far away from the more popular beaches of Mandarmani. And also not beach facing either. So it makes it more important to top up with other facilities.
3. Remnants show that it had many facilities which lies in ruin today. Like 2 ruined snooker boards, broken badminton rackets. Only the carom board is in good condition.
In general, keeping and serving alcohol is banned in almost all hotels in Mandarmani (or so we had been told by the King's Crown management), so it kind of takes away the whole charm of a quick weekend trip with friends. But then there are abundant off shops around and the hotel allows you to bring your own booze.
2800 per night for the kind of experience we had seems slightly overcharged. Only positive memory was the pool (but that can get overcrowded quickly)
