I stayed here two separated nights during a trip I made to Tennessee. The hotel is like a mile close to Graceland and close to the airport too. Staff is really friendly, courteous and customer service oriented. The location of the hotel was great and rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. They even had microwave and mini fridge. Continental breakfast was really good. I gave it a four star because it really needs a hall renovation, elevators smell and carpets are worn out.

I know this hotel had some bad reviews but I have to say I had a great time at this hotel, rooms were cleaned and bedding changed. Harold and all staff were amazing and so friendly. They made my birthday week so special, The breakfast was lovely and always stocked up by the friendly kitchen staff. We had no hot water for a couple of days but this was sorted as soon as possible by the hotel and we was kept updated about the repairs. I would stay there again. Thank you to Magnuson Grand for my flowers and wine for my birthday :D

Enjoyed staying at the Magnuson during Elvis Week 2017. The GM Mr. Harold Daniels, his staff, and Mary Jo Beck (organizer of ETA shows in the Dad's Place lounge), Mr. Jerome, Head Security could have not been more nicer. Our rooms were clean, air condition was cool, breakfast was filling, extra food served by the Grub Hut, shuttle van took us back and forth to Graceland, parking lot had lots of lights, security 24/7, pool and pool chairs were very nice, and everyone had a great time.

Stayed at Magnuson Grand last week for Elvis week 2017. My first time staying here and based mainly on the great weekly rate for this week. I was very disappointed as our room didn't appear to have been remodeled like it was advertised. When we arrived to our room, a/c was set on 60 degrees with a box fan in front of it to help cool. The room was hot all week and certainly never reached 60 degrees. We had to go to front desk every day to have our room key rekeyed. I told the front desk about the a/c and the keys. Of course, every time we were told key had been demagnetized by cell phone or near another credit card which wasn't the case. The carpet in hallway is dirty. On the first morning,the shower faucet came off and my husband had to tighten so we could take our showers. I asked front desk to send someone to tighten faucet properly but not sure if maintenance ever came about this problem or a/c problem. There were several people that had the same problems we did during their stay. My friend's truck was broken into while staying there, breaking passenger window out and the radio was stolen.

Unsympathetic and unfriendly

Was going to be in Memphis for a funeral. Flight was cancelled and they said they could give a refund and then emailed saying it was against their policy. Claim to be a family oriented business but clearly have no feelings about family. Will NEVER look into this chain again.
