Not your usual hotel
HoobyWinchesteron 12/06/2017 10:32A friendly and welcoming hotel. It is a lovely building. We had the continental breakfast and it was very good and very filling. A cooked breakfast is available for a supplement. There is free wifi in the rooms. Lots of parking available too. Unfortunately my sleep was disturbed by noise from the rooms below as the rooms are, unsurprisingly considering the age and nature of the building, not particularly well soundproofed. There was noise from outside too as the room did not have double glazing.
Quirky and interesting hotel
abidore1on 30/05/2017 22:45Had a fabulous overnight stay in this quirky and interesting hotel. Owner's were very welcoming rooms comfortable and immaculately clean with everything we needed. We had a lovely evening meal that was most enjoyable.
The resident dogs were so well behaved and new which parts of the hotel were out of bounds.
would not hesitate to stay here again.
Somewhere different..
Gaye Kon 14/05/2017 18:42If you are fed up of characterless identikit chain hotels, stay here for an interesting and memorable break. Comfortable rooms, good food in a beautiful house full of interesting stuff. Owner was very welcoming and helpful.
Overnight stay - travelling home
Lynne Ton 13/05/2017 16:34Had a fabulous overnight stay in this quirky and interesting hotel. Owner was very welcoming rooms comfortable and immaculately clean with everything we needed. We had a lovely evening meal despite the fact they had not received our booking via Booking.com. !! The hotel has been lovingly refurbished and the antiques and artefacts are very interesting. It wasn't just a routine stop over but an enjoyable experience. And breakfast was the best I have ever had. Compliments to Chef for both meals. Thank you for looking after us. We hope to return one day.

Amazing hotel.
paradadon 29/04/2017 21:51This is not a posh hotel and I don't think that there is a porter service.
It is warm and friendly and the breakfast we had was simple but very tasty.
Our room was nice and warm and the bed was very comfortable.
There is tons of parking here with plenty of room.
