What People are saying

Loved this hotel

Katharine Son 12/06/2017 00:04

The hotel is currently going through some renovations but it didn't impact our stay at all. The room was HUGE, even by western standards and overlooked the beach. The room was well-appointed, new and very comfortable. The beach was clean with crystal clear waters and hardly anyone there. The only annoying part was you had to pay for towel hire (200 yen) and you had to pay for the sun umbrella and chairs (2500 yen), which I thought should be included in your stay, seeing it's a beachfront hotel.

Hotel staff were friendly and willing to help. There is a free car park right out front but fills up quickly so there's another one across the road they ask you the park into.

Location was fantastic and probably better for kids. Further north there's the Pineapple theme park and Dino park and further south there's a resort where you can do water sports.

Highly recommend staying here. Not sure how it competes with the other bigger resorts in the area, but definitely worth it for the quality and value you get here.

Newly renovated hotel directly on beach

We were there 4 nights to take a rest after 2 weeks of travelling across Japan. Our room was newly renovated, clean with a great ocean view. Location of hotel is directly on beach. Breakfast was good with international and japan selection. Beach was clean and you can rent there umbrella with 2 deckchairs for 2500 JPY per day.

Hotel offers reasonable value for money and I definitely recommend it.

The only one not so positive thing is that English of personal (also reception desk) is poor. But they are very polite and helpful.

Excellent view and comfortable stay

It is beach hotel and all rooms are facing the sea and equipped with balcony. Spacious room with 4 single beds although 1 of them was obviously and add-on and not too comfortable with the old springs.
Toilet fully equipped with all amenities save for body lotion but we did bring our own. Good water pressure and stable water temperature.
We like hotel location because it is in the middle of various tourist sites like Cape Manzamo, Cape Zanpa, Blue Cave, Sunset Beach, and not too far to drive up north to Kouri Island, aquarium and Nago.
Free wifi strong and steady. On one of the days one of us needed to have a business video conference. Well supported by hotel wifi no issues at all.
Liked the individually controlled AC so that we can turn it off when we are out - not only to save electricity but also not to make the room too dry as dryness triggers eczema to us quite easily.
Buffet breakfast on top floor is included and provides the usual varieties of western and traditional Japanese food. One may need to wait if arrive late during busy hours of 7-8am.
Hotel has large scale beach toys i.e. giant flotation platforms with slides, trampoline, etc. obviously it is not free but looked like great fun. However checked with hotel they would not operate the toys on that day. Not sure because it is a particular day of the week or not enough guests to make it economical as it was just early April.
Onsite carpark is available for only JPY500 a night. Very cheap indeed but parking space is quite limited even including the parking lot opposite to the hotel. Not sure what will happen when it gets full.

Nice hotel, will be even nicer after the remodel is finished

We recently returned from a relaxing family vacation at Kanehide Kise Beach Palace.

The location is excellent, only a short distance away from the end of the Okinawa Expressway. It is not a difficult hotel to find and is a beautiful location right off the beach. There is limited parking at the hotel with an overflow lot across the busy street (with no crosswalk). There is a parking fee which we we knew about and were okay with, but for the size of hotel, the parking lot is not commensurate.

Our room was on the 6th floor and was a very good size and could easily accommodate a third bed for my daughter. Everything in the room appeared old and dated. One of the beds had a bedspread with stains on it. There were two threadbare chairs next to a coffee table. The carpets looked particularly worn and old but were very clean. The bathroom was clean and adequate with normal amenities provided. We had a lovely balcony with wonderful views of the beach and ocean. The only thing that spoiled our enjoyment of the balcony is when other guests would come out on their balconies to smoke. The room had wireless internet that was very stable and fast.

I wish the room would have had a clothesline in the bathroom area for hanging wet bathing suits and a folding luggage rack.

I had been perusing the website prior to our trip and knew the hotel had been undergoing renovations but was under the impression that renovations for all the rooms and hotel were finished, so was surprised/disappointed that the room we received was not renovated.

The common areas in the hotel all appeared renovated and were quite nice. Our stay included the breakfast buffet. The dining room was quite nice with great views of the ocean. The food was decent with both Japanese and Western fare. There is an onsite water sport center (Marine Club Berry) where you could book activities including the use of their outdoor water obstacle course. They offer English speaking guides (as well as Japanese, Korean and Chinese) which was great as we stayed at another hotel in Okinawa prefecture that wouldn't let us sign up for water activities since we didn't speak Japanese.

The hotel has onsite restaurants and there are some restaurants within walking distance including a convenience store.

The hotel staff was very kind and spoke adequate English to be handle check in/out and a few various questions.

All in all, I would recommend this hotel, especially if you can get a renovated room. Despite my disappointment in not getting a remodeled room, it is still a great hotel with good location, service, amenities and they are accommodating to non-Japanese speaking guests.

One of the my favorite hotels!!!

This was my first time to visit Okinawa, Japan. And this hotel was totally amazing!!! It was so tidy, beautiful, good services for sure, and my family and I love the breakfast so much!!! We will visit Okinawa at the end of this year, hopefully there will be a vacancy of guest rooms for us since it is so popular on the Internet!!!
