What People are saying

Get location but very small bathroom

Linh Lon 28/03/2017 01:42

The staff here speak quite a bit of English which is very helpful. Check in was super easy with no problems at all. When you leave the room to go our for the day, you leave the key at reception and pick it up again upon returning. They will also ask you if you'd like western or Japanese breakfast which they will give you the ticket for on the next day. The breakfast itself wasn't spectacular but it does the job in filling you up.

The room itself was spacious and clean with basic amenities. However we found the bathroom to be tiny and I'm small in size and struggled to maneuver around. There's also a clothes horse in the room if you'd like to dry your clothes and the laundry facilities here are pretty easy to use for non speaking Japanese.

This is located 2 minutes from the Kishibe station which is on the JR line and the stop is 3 stops away from Shin Osaka. Love the location.

Would recommend here if you're not staying in Osaka for a long time. You definitely gets your money's worth here.

Excellent hotel with delicious breakfast

We had a pleasant stay here. It's very near the train station, just a few minutes walk. There's a Lawson convenience store and a larger supermarket (forgot the name) nearby. The room is big enough for 2 people with several luggage. There's a compact bathroom, an electric kettle and coffee cups, a writing desk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave us some complimentary skin care products when we checked in. The breakfast is delicious! You can choose between the Japanese and Western set and they're both really good. The Japanese set is my favorite. It's healthy and the fish is very tasty. Will definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Osaka.

Quiet and cute hotel

A great little hotel, close to JR Kishibe Station, around 10 mins from Osaka and 25 mins from Kyoto via local line. The hotel was quiet, the staff spoke minimal English, but enough with our shoddy Japanese to make do. Breakfast was included and there was a choice between Western and Japanese. The room was a dated, but it added to the charm of the place. Our room also included a three tatami mat room as well as an entry hall with interior door. There is a supermarket and convenience store within a two minute walk. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Kansai.

Friendly staff, hotel less than 2 mins walk from JR Kishibe station

naihposon 15/09/2016 13:06

Once u exit the jr station, turn left n u will see the convenience store then go down the escalator. Across the street you will see a supermarket.. It closes around 10 i think. Pretty handy. Room view faces the rail track. But no noises heard when i am in the room. Toilet size typical Japanese toilet size. They offer breakfast(western/jap) food. Friendly staff too. There is a washing machine, vending machine, pc terminal and some magazines for u to browse through in level 1.

Will definitely come back if im coming back to Osaka. A few stns away from Shin-osaka stn. Friendly station master to add, if you have any queries feel free to ask them, despite minimal English you can definitely make your way around. 20-30 mins to Kyoto stn.

A hotel in Kishibe for our visit to Osaka

Rosemary Don 25/08/2016 06:06

Taking a train to our hotel in Kishibe seemed like ages since it was almost at the end of the line. But our worries were gone as soon as we found the hotel right across the exit of the station. Our room was dainty, and even if room space was limited, there was an area with a table where we could sit on the floor and sip tea like Japanese do. The hotel may be remote but the train station was just a few steps away and we could easily get to places we wanted to visit including the Universal studios.
Staff knew little English but were very helpful.
