We booked 2 standard double rooms 6 months before arrival but when we arrived we were given 1 double and 1 twin and told all rooms on booking are double. One was downstairs next to the corridor where people walk in and out. So it was quite noisy until late at night. There is also a strong smell downstairs and both rooms had internal windows. It is quite expensive for what you get but this seems to be the case for all of ao nang. Staff were friendly and helpful. We easily booked scooter rental through them. They also happily let us use the phone. The room was cleaned everyday and they have good value breakfast from their cafe downstairs. It is also in a great location.
Decent & nice.

Roadtrip from Malaysia to Thailand for the 1st time.
With my family and friends with small children to Ao Nang, our 1st checkpoint.
Treng (I think his name) and his wife were very accomodating. His wife helped/arranged us get safe parking away from the hotel which was very nearby.
Treng explained to us our room package before we entered the room before we flipped when we find out no air condition. Of course when you booked he cheapest it tend to skip the frills (without realising the necessities of a hot weather). For just 20baht more we got aircond.
All and all the hotel was decent and nice with lots of shampoo and bodywash in dispensers, clean thick towels and fresh smelling room. Had a mini fridge too.
Me and hubs would go to KL House Ao Nang again if we go to Krabi again.
OK if you're in town for one night

Not the greatest place in town. It is definitely not inferior to establishments in its price range.
The main problem is the service and management. They are rude, inefficient and they have strange policies that make no sense lle charging 50% of the rate off your credit card if you book online but then refusing to take cards without charging a "transaction" surcharge.
They also own the breakfast place next door, Je Coffee, where they charge people extra for using their power outlets or ordering drinks without ice.
Let's just say customer satisfaction is not in their priorities.
