As expected for the price

We didn't spend much time in the room, only to sleep and get ready, so it served it's purpose as an inexpensive place to stay while visiting our daughter at Howard Payne University. Would consider staying there again when we go back.

Dare2Dreamon 01/01/2017 22:43The best thing about this motel was the pleasant old African american lady at the front desk. The motel itself is quite old, so works out fine if all you care about is a place to spend the night. If you prefer newer construction and bright rooms, look elsewhere for a higher cost.
Our Nine Day Stay Was Very Good
ballardj777on 27/08/2016 21:16The staff was very hospitable and accommodating. The room was well air conditioned and the queen sized bed was great. There was plenty of hot water at all times for showering. Overall all amenities in the room worked. In spite of the age of the hotel and size of the room it is an economically sensible decision to stay at Knights Inn.
Beware Of This One!
Janet Mon 06/01/2016 20:11I booked two nights with free Wyndham reward points. Upon arrival I was really unhappy with the room. So unhappy, I walked out the door and never returned. It was so bad I couldn't even stay there for free, if I had paid for the room I would have been really angry. The sofa was disgusting. Bad lighting, refrigerator was humming very loudly. The sheets looked like they were from the 1940's and the room had a strange smell. I am female and was traveling alone and the parking lot was totally dark. I felt very unsafe. I was the only guest in the entire building. Really creepy. My recommendation would be to check out a room before paying for it to make sure you could even stay there. I couldn't.
A Pleasant Surprise
Bill and Martha Mon 24/12/2015 18:22We were in Brownwood for a funeral the next morning and just needed a place to rest & shower after the long drive. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, plus it was quite. Our only negative thing was that the bathroom and especially the commode area was extremely small. Overall, It still was a pleasant stay for the night and had a nice flat screen HD TV, refrigerator & microwave. If in that area again, we would stay there.
