We stayed one night there while traveling. The price was very low but the room was clean and the morning breakfast had little variety but the area was clean. The only issue was that the room seemed very damp as it was very humid when we were there...even for February. We would stay there again if we needed to make a stop on our travels.

This is a no frills place to stay, if you are looking for fancy then this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a place to sleep that is fairly clean on a budget then this is perfect.
The room was in fairly good condition and everything worked as expected, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom and carpets were in good shape.
Poor Customer Service ruined the experience.

I have been going to the Knight's Inn at this location for a couple of years from time to time, while visiting family on the west side. The place has always been affordable, which is why I have always looked past the filthy rooms and seedy people living there. Unfortunately, the last time I stayed there, I experienced such poor customer service and disrespect from the staff that I no longer will stay there. I will say the general manager was very apologetic when I called to inform him about my experience a couple days later. The woman at the front desk, as well as the cleaning staff, showed absolutely zero professionalism or sympathy, even after I pointed out their mistake with my booking and customer service experience there as well. The cleaning staff laughed at me and made racial slurs at me when I went to make a complaint at the front desk! The assistant manager looked as if she wanted to jump me, after I simply asked the question, "excuse me?"....I had to explain to her that I was simply asking her to repeat her last statement. I left feeling that the women working had some kind of personal problem with me for no reason. I was so shaken up by their disrespect. I hope that the appropriate changes in customer service training will be taken for the sake of the other customers like me.

We stay here when we come to Jacksonville to visit family. I woke up early this morning and tried to go to the pool only to find that the gate was locked. As you can see by my picture I'm sitting outside the pool area in my own chair. I went to the office to ask what time the pool open she tells me 11 o'clock. The reason being 11 o'clock they don't want the ones checking out that day to be able to go to the pool plus they're trying to keep the noise down for the one sleeping in go figure.
What the front desk should be considered about is the drunks standing outside on the 2nd floor being loud! They are the reason I'm up so early!!!

The location near the highway was a plus, but did not appear to be in the best part of town. The staff was very friendly, however, the rooms were not in the best condition. Furniture was very worn, hairdryer did not work, water did not get cold, it remained luke warm to hot. The continental breakfast was limited in food and there was a roach that crawled across the counter. Very disappointing.
