I expected better
motraveler50on 05/07/2017 19:45I reserved a room at this Motel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor, but can't believe we were talking about the same place. We were given a king bed room on the ground floor with a microwave and 2 refrigerators, a mini one, and a full size one that was in front of the clothes hanging rack, so we could not hang any clothes for the next day, carpet was old and stained, mattress was old and we rolled to the center, vanity sink was black from water dripping on it, the bathroom stool was not clean on the inside, but the worst thing was, the tub would not drain, so we stood in 4 inches of nasty water from previous tenants, shower curtain was black on the bottom, holes in the walls, old tube TV with very few channels.
They had a toast bar for in the Morning, but we got coffee and went to McDonalds for Breakfast. Would never stay again.
Dinner and a cold beer
Dan Ron 05/07/2017 14:58After a long day on the road. The front desk staff said this was a good place to eat and the beer was cold. Had the chicken fried steak it was homemade and good. The beer was good and cold so had to have more than one.
Sure, would stay again
IndyTravel999on 06/06/2017 13:15I always stick to chain hotels for biz or family travel. But, needing a vacation sleep over stop , I gave this place a try based on reviews. It was just fine and a fair value for the price. Building and rooms are older, obviously, but felt clean. Neutral smell... No masking scents that indicate a cover up. Front desk extremely friendly. Quiet town with a few decent places to eat. We drove a few miles into the plains for some sunset photography. If you need an affordable sleep outside of Denver, Coyote is just fine.
Fantastic little budget motel
Molly Kon 04/05/2017 06:05I stop here every time I go to Denver, even though I have an rv and don't really need to stay in motels anymore. It isn't fancy, but it's reasonably clean and the owners are fantastic folks. If you want or need luxury surroundings to pamper yourself with, go elsewhere. This is a great place for a tired traveler to get some shuteye without breaking the bank. It's right next to a couple of gas stations for added convenience, and it's very close to I70 (but just far enough away to keep the road noise down a bit).
Friendly staff but....
Y Con 19/11/2016 19:00Made an unplanned stop in Limon, CO due to a winter storm. The front desk staff was extremely friendly but it doesn't overcome the fact that it is a "cheap" motel...not in terms of dollars but overall quality. Though I read in one of the reviews that the motel was recently remodeled I could not find any evidence of that. Furnishings were at least a couple decades old, bedding was stained and sheets had previous guests' hair, meaning not clean. Carpet was worn out and dirty. Also it is advertised as having free wifi but unless your room is close to the front desk it most likely won't work. Their back door lock did not work so there can be a security concern as well. Shower temperature fluctuated wildly and their continental breakfast consists of bagels, coffee and kool aid...no juice, milk, cereal, eggs or other items commonly found in other motels. Lastly their rooms don't have thermostats so either the heat is on or off. To sum it up I would avoid this motel if at all possible.
