Nightmare stay
KathyLClion 17/12/2016 14:15I asked if they had a room with two beds. When I paid I was charged 20 dollars more. When asked why I was told that I was charged for a suite because they had no rooms left. Should have been asked before I paid if it was OK. Got to suite and found partial bag of pizza rolls left in freezer and a plate full in microwave. Tells me they don't clean rooms. Also very unfriendly staff. Walls are very thin. People next door you could hear all night long. Got stuck at end of driveway because they hadn't even had it plowed out yet. Will never stay there again. Would rather sleep in car before I stay there
My 1st visit
Angie Mon 01/11/2016 13:04The room in the Stables was small but very cozy. They allow dogs which was the main reason i chose this place. The lication was quiet and scenic. Wide open area to walk my dog, had a nice view of Winnebago River, walking bridge, very peaceful.

Marcia Son 31/10/2016 21:23We stayed one Sunday night. In area to pick up RV. Website info just plain wrong. Lobby area under construction and NO food on Sunday and only room service otherwise. Room tired but clean. Receptionist when we arrive was a real zero. Really. Evening help seemed normal and pleasant. We didn't have great expectations for a continental breakfast, but this one was bad. Basically a toaster and two kinds of bread, bananas, oranges, and one kind of cold cereal. This was all served on low table. Worst I've ever seen.
The Lodge Needs Help...FAST.
azdeb2015on 05/10/2016 22:32This used to be a special place for dinner but its way past its prime. I knew this when I booked my daughter & family there for 3 days due to a family death. It was close/convenient and the two room "suite" worked for a family. The positives end there. Front desk reception/hospitality was less than zero, not even a greeting when we walked in. They're trying to stay open during renovations but no carpet in common areas, stained carpet in room and noise all night. Should have listened to the review that said 'paper thin walls'. Maybe the price should reflect it's current condition. Hope they bring it back but it's going to take some work!!
Terrible info on website
webbg44on 23/08/2016 01:11There was NO restaurant as mentioned. Room was very dirty!! Food by microwave & carpet was terrible with grease, etc. Front desk employee totally brain dead; not even a hello. Bed UNCOMFORTABLE--hard as a rock as were the pillows also.
