"Better then Expected, cute place"

We drove around looking for a place one night, pull up to room, cheap place. Me and my wife found this, on our way to check out the motel 6, but she said ho check price etc, we stayed here May 8th. Guy at front desk, was very nice, polite and helpful. Our room was nice, especially to pull up in front, comfortable clean room, is was a cold day when we stayed, so we didnt use the pool. Front desk has ice, no coffee machine, but we bring our own alot, cute place, for the price and service, we would stay here again for sure.

Very clean, huge rooms with microwave and refridg. Beds and pillows very comfy. Reasonable price!!! Pete and Kelly, the owners are the best!!! So kind and considerate! They treat you like family. Can't do enough for you!! This is our motel of choice everytime we are in Yuma!

If you are looking for an inexpensive, no frills place, look no further. The property is very reminiscent of the old 60's motels. It actually has some of the old motor lodge charm. The owner was very nice as she checked me in. Swimming pool, free wifi, lots of parking, all the usual. However, the room was a good size, very clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower head had a nice spray. What more could you ask for? There was even a welcome mat in front of each room. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. Definitely will stay again.

This place is decent when trying to save money. You have to check in at 3pm or after, a few times though I've noticed shady people in area and once a homeless lady sleeping under the stairs I had to check was ok. The breakfast has eggs sausage and other items. The rooms were standard and decent. It as clean and kept cool..so all in all it was a great bargain and once the extra large pool is clean it's great.

Stay a while and you will see what your missing!

First, this is not a Bed and Breakfast as categorized by TA.
Out of 38 reviews on TripAdvisor, I have only given 3 negative reviews. This review is my 4th and I am in dismay of the occurrences I encountered at this motel.
I booked this motel room for 9 days so I could get my teeth fixed in Los Algodones. The room was very dated but appeared clean. The owners also appeared to be pleasant when I checked in, but wait!
Not that I watch TV, but there was no HBO as advertised. No Continental Breakfast with Coffee, which is also advertized on their web page. I kept the door closed to the bathroom because the light peered in the room in the morning. When I opened the bathroom door I could smell sewer gas. It wasn’t every day, but when there was more occupancy. There were BB holes in the bathroom window! Bath towels were like sand paper. It was quiet until the room was occupied next door. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. Took of a few pictures of blood stains on the bed sheets, probably from bug kills since i did kill a few bugs i saw wondering on my bed during my stay. No worries, they were not bed bugs.
Soon after I checked in, I took a shower and the water was barely warm. Shaving was a chore. After 5 days of excuses and no hot water, I asked for a refund of my 4 remaining nights. The owner began yelling and screaming at me, and would not refund the 4 days I had left. At one point HE almost would not let me stay at all. He was ranting and stated; No Refund, and pointed to the little sign on the counter.. and he said since I was done with my dental work I was trying to leave early. I was appalled by the way this guy spoke to me! It was far from the truth…I still had 4 more days of dental work to go. This guy was irate, rude, threatening and was screaming uncontrollably. He is a vicious man and I WOULD NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL AGAIN IF IT WERE FREE! There are many other motels right on this main road that offer the same and better, like the HACIENDA, a mile down the road.
To top it off, I paid in full when I checked in, as his wife required, all cash, a big mistake. His wife said cash was better for them. I forgot to get my receipt and went back in the office after I unpacked and his wife said I was all good and don’t worry about it… and another big mistake.
Good ratings are probably due to very short stays of 1 or 2 days.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS MOTEL.THERE ARE MANY BETTER OPTIONS IN YUMA!
THE GUY IS A JERK and there are much better choices than this motel!
