Worthy budget hotel

We spent just one night in Kodagu Plaza, it's a good budget hotel. Don't expect too much from here. There is no room service and apart from bathing soap you wouldn't get anything else, even drinking water was not available in room. There are many restaurants in this vicinity and getting food wouldn't be an issue.

Good lodge for short stays

As it was a festival season we could not get accommodation in any of the other resorts / hotels in Kushalnagar and we were referred to this property by the staff in their group concern Kannikka International.

the rooms are large, comfortable, neat and clean. The washrooms are large but devoid of any toiletries except for a bar of soap. There is no restaurant in the lodge however this may not be a challenge as there is a vegetarian restaurant across and a non vegetarian just next door. Hot water is available in the mornings.

The tariff is decent and the lodge is quite decent property on the main road.

Booked hotel through stayzilla.com, The Hotel staff behaviour was rude as we produced the booking confirmation hard copy the staff did not accept it. he asked for the full email hard copy. People are saving paper he was adament on full email. No room service. Horrible place to stay. The entrance gallery to the room was like a haunted one. The room inside latch was not proper any one could have broke in at night. I request to remove the hotel from the list to save the reputation. Please do not ever think to stay at Kodagu Plaza.

I prefer not to go to the hotel at all...dusty and they didn't provide any tv also.painful to stay all over.staff behaviour was also not good. And also rennovation work is going on there at present.!!

Worst hotel in Coorg / Kushalnagar

Advantages:
1. Very near to Golden Temple & Nisargadhama

Disadvantages:
1. No current in the night on most of the days
2. No generator backup
3. Stinking rooms - Dont go by the hotel snaps
4. Smelling bedsheets
6. Drinking water was served in a bad jug and was leaking
7. Chandrasekhar - Hotel Assistant did not address the power cut situation
8. Viswanath - Manager of this hotel and few other hotels in this district did not pick up the calls
9. Worst service facility
10. Helpers are begging for tips

If you are looking for a pleasant stay in Kushalnagar or Coorg, i am requesting you all readers of this review to not book this hotel.

Requesting GoIbibo to remove their association with this hotel and save your name.

There are many other hotels who can promise better service and stay in that area.

Signing off after a bad stay amidst of an excellent sight seeing trip.
