Great Place to stay with amazing view and room layout but choice of food could be a little better. However, with the proximity to town centre, one does not feel left out as there are door delivery options available too.

Once again, with the stay experience that you get, one can almost do not care for food.

location of hotel is near city, near to Coakers Walk the rooms which are provided are independent cottage with big balcony, food was ok. hotel is clean with interiors rooms were basic, overall we can say value for money.

Excellent value for money. The staff was very helpful, courteous, cooperative and very friendly. Overall I enjoyed my stay immensely.

It all started when my niece had booked from May2 to May5, 2017. She hails from mumbai and I live in Bangalore. On a very casual call, she suggested that I also join them without anyone in their family knowing about it. So I also booked my deluxe room for the same dates and reached there early morning on 2nd May. While I was imagining how surprised the children would be, a thought struck me to make this surprise more surprising.
I contacted the reception staff and the manager. I took them into confidence and told them what my plan was. They were willing to play ball with me and I assured them that this plan was just for fun and that the game would be over in less than a minute but the laughter would remain. So finally when my niece and family arrived, I was standing in a corner with my back to them. When they approached the receptionist, they were told that there was some confusion and since the season was very busy all rooms were overbooked. My niece's family was about to fly off the handle when the receptionist told them that they could contact the manager to resolve the issue. Guess who the Manager was. Of course it was me back with my back to them. Then a hotel staff patted my back to gain attention and I was deliberately not turning back. After about 45 seconds, I turn back and say 'Hello, How can I help you". All hell broke loose at Kodai Resort at that moment. There was nothing but laughter and more laughter.

Thats why I believe that the Hotel staff was excellent.

Superb location and amazing stay

I stayed at Kodai Resort for two nights during my family holidays in Kodaikanal. Rooms are spacious and well designed. The staffs were really helpful and very friendly. Food served was awesome with ample cuisine choices during the buffet. Overall it was a fabulous stay. Thank you Kodai and the entire team for the wonderful holiday experience.

Excellent stay for family..

Stayed with family for 2 nights during first week of August-2017. I would say it was a wonderful experience for the entire family. Stayed in a cottage which was re-furnished recently. Everything looks pretty new and clean. The view from the balcony was really relaxing. The landscaping across the resort was eye-catching. My kids enjoyed the garden and variety of birds they have.
The resort is centrally located. If you want to take a stroll at Coaker's, Bryant's park or around the lake, just get out of the resort ... all it will take is 2-5 minutes walk. This saves a lot a time and driving/parking hassles.
The staff are friendly and willing to help you with any request. Room service was pretty Quick. Food was tasty and the dining area was clean. The breakfast spread had enough stuff to cater everyone's taste-buds.
My 4-Yr old's soft-toy was under the bed and we failed to notice. This was later couriered to my residence in Bangalore.
I would like to thank the entire team for making our stay memorable. My kids looking forward to our next visit to Kodai Resort.
