Kolea House 16 - Amazing!

Family birthday trip with 11 people (adults and kids). Grandparents rented a condo in the complex and adult kids with their families rented house 16. Beautiful!!! Great pool, great kitchen, great bedrooms...just great. Full access to the Hilton resort next door (including ability to "room charge" to the house). Neighborhood also has its own beach (very unusual on the Big Island). Complex close to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping. Waikoloa Vacation Rentals concierge super helpful in booking restaurants/activities and rental company very easy to work with. If you are going to the Big Island, I highly recommend this complex and this house!

This resort has all the amenities and is in close walking distance to the shopping center. The Hilton passes for the pool with parking is an added plus. Restaurants are nearby but bring your wallet. If you are good with cooking in this is a great place do do that with full kitchen and BBQ on the spacious Lanai.

We had two small families totaling 5 people stay at Kolea 1E. Other than the decorations being "different", the condo was just gorgeous. We had breakfast on the lanai every morning (where there is plenty of furniture - even a pull out bed) to sit on. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you need. The only down thing was that the thermostat could only be set to 72 and after showers, the rooms got very hot and it was hard to cool down. The pool and club house is just steps away. We used the outdoor gym as well. It consisted of two treadmills and a stationary bike so get there early. It was very well maintained and supplied towels. The place is QUIET! No tourist here. I wished we could have spent more time here but we are very active and took off on excursions most of the time. The owner left a fresh bowl of fruit and other goodies as a welcome gift. Very nice. Also, you have your own elevator directly to your room and parking is just outside your door. This is a huge bonus! You also have your own washer and dryer - this is great. The beach is about two football fields away and has great sidewalks. The beach is "A"Bay beach with lots of activities and walking paths.

Kolea what a peaceful tranquil experience from the time we arrived to the time we left we were in total meditation mode the property is extraordinary and the setting is so peaceful as far as the furnishings for the condominium there is nothing more to ask for everything you could need is provided the views are outstanding and the pool and Beach Club are nothing more than total relaxation I will carry it with me back in New York City until we return next year

Top Hawaii Getaway

These Condos are amazing!! I have travelled to Hawaii several times to Maui and Oahu but these are my favorite for couples retreats, adventure, golf, and good times. I have actually stayed in these properties 3 times and plan on going again next year. My wife and friends enjoy every minute. I personally would recommend renting a unit on the third floor where you can see the ocean and not blocked by other buildings. The property area has some nice restaurants, shops, as well as grocery store so we like to mix up staying in and cooking as well as going out. This is a special place - would highly recommend!!!
