Holiday to kefalos.

We last stayed at the kontessa in 2014 which was our third visit to kefalos and then said if we returned it would have to be The Kontessa apts. so this time around they were just as spotless and well maintained.
The apts. are very well positioned with a short walk to the sea front with the bars and restaurants. The apts have great sea views especially the upper floor. Typically basic Greek rooms, but spacious and clean. The staff are very welcoming and helpful especially Karol who runs the pool bar.
This is one of the most laid back resorts that we have been to in Greece and the value for money in the bars and restaurants is excellent which means that we will definitely returning.

Very good Greek self catering accommodation

Do not expect 5 star but this accommodation is well above the average for Greek self catering. Spacious, plenty of drawers and hanging space, separate bedrooms if required and an adequate bathroom. Do not expect to be at home, the cooking facilities are very limited but a full sized fridge and kettle, cups, plates etc are all there. A/C is chargeable extra unless you have agreed an advanced inclusion, Rooms are spotless and relatively spacious and all have a balcony or terrace looking directly over the pool to the sea (50 metres). We would definitely return as the place is excellent value for money in the best resort in Kos.

Excellent self catering accommodation

This small but excellent complex is tucked away just a very short walk from the bay, shops, bars and restaurants. The apartments are basic but very, very good. They are more than adequate, and cleaned on a very regular basis. The sheets and towels are also regularly changed. The apartments are in their own grounds and beautiful gardens, which are kept to a very high standard. There is an excellent swimming pool which again is cleaned and serviced daily. There is a really good pool side bar which serves excellent coffee, snacks and meals. This is run by a lovely but cheeky English lady who speaks fluent Greek.

this was our 2nd stay at the kontessa and is our firm favourite hotel in kefalos.peaceful and chilled setting with large swimming pool .it is ideally located for resteraunts and tavernas .rooms are spacious and equipped with fridge.there is a snack bar that serves really good food ,cold drinks ,beers ,wine by the lovely caryl. joanna the owner is very welcoming, really helpful ,gave us fresh tomatoes and figs great touch.will definately be back

Stayed first in 2015 for friends 60th birthday enjoyed that much came back again, great value for money, nice, clean, basic but excellent accommodation, not to crowded either, Joanne is great, pool is great
