BEDBUGS/CIMICIDS!!!!!

Avoid to book at this place. First of all this place is full of bedbugs/cimicids. The bedding wasn't changed. On the bed sheet were stains of the person(s) before. The aircondition doesn't work. The smell in the inside of the hostel was horrible.

Me and my boyfriend took a HK vacay last 19 Feb 2017- 21 Feb 2017.
While looking for a economy hotel in agoda.com. Kawloon New Hostel appears as one of the cheapest and the location is so good for the Space Museum , MTR, Kawloon Tower Clock,St. Andrews Church, I- Square and Macau Ferry and many more tourist places.

Upon arriving the lady in skirt told us that we booked the room with shared toilet and no wifi. Then she told us that we can upgrade our room by adding 80HKD per night. that has own toilet, wifi, blower and toiletries. Me and my boyfriend agreed. The hallways and reception are not so good. But the rooms and hostel assistant are kind and accommodating. (We thought we will not enjoy the stay because of the blogs and review we read, but It is better than our exception).

Worth of money is equal to its service, clap clap for the accommodating staff :)

Arrived at the hostel after travelling for nearly 2 days in the air to find my reservation had been cancelled 4 hours before arriving because they couldn't authorise my credit card. Then tried to charge me double the price.

At first we book the room from booking.com it only show the room with share bathroom. When we arrive, the receiptionist offer us to upgrade the room. Bigger room with shower , ac, tv. Free water and everyday my room get clean. Perfect 4 days. The best budget hostel

Good value for money

Booked Kowloon New Hostel's single room. Seems to be fully booked so was relocated to sister hostel (or room) in Chungking Mansion. Was offered choice of private restroom or free wifi (special promotion at that time). Chose the first one but get free wifi eventually. Got the room for 3 persons so it's pretty big. Bathroom is small (same as in Japan). Room is clean. Staff is friendly. Near MTR Tsim Sha Tsui, isquare, clock tower, avenue of stars, garden of stars, etc.
Can choose deposit with card so that when check out do not need to go back to reception
Don't expect too much since it's a hostel. It's kind of old apartment with local people so do expect dirty sometimes.
