It was a warm welcome with luggage help & a drink. The best thing was that I got a room with a good view of sea & mountains. It really made my stay special. Thanks to the desk for accepting my request.
At the time of my visit, internet was not working on all the floors except reception. I understand it can happen at times but the bigger problem was they did not fix it for two days. They do not understand what people will miss because of no internet. If it was working on reception, they should have extended that to other floors as well. I had to come down to reception for internet for long late hours.
Breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations.
Service & hospitality was above average.
Corridors are not of good quality. Room service persons were chit chatting & they leave their trolley on the corner of the corridor near my room which is not a good thing. They have a small library kind of sitting area with magazines books etc. The hotel has a good standard but they need to gear up more when it comes to customer service.
Room has a little Thai ethnic touch. I would not call it quaint. Bathrooms were a bit small & pressure was low. For Asians, toilet did not have water jet, only toilet paper tissue. And they did not have option to attach water jet this for me (Ramada in Bangkok quickly attached water jet on my request). Bed was soft and Sofa cum bed mattress was hard for people with backbone problems.
They have decent swimming pool area on one of the roof of a floor. They have lush green gardens on the back. And they provide shuttle to Ao Nang beach 3 or 4 times in a day.
They need to work hard a little more to get better ratings than this.

We stayed here for two nights as part of six weeks travel on honeymoon.
The receptionist was robotically polite and uninspiring however not unpleasant. Our initial room was not the 'sea view' we had requested so we asked reception again once we were shown to it whether they could be moved. They initially said no and then when seeing our booking confirmation agreed to move us upstairs.
The second room was pleasant enough and had a sea view if you looked hard while hanging over the balcony.
Not wanting to cause any trouble we left it at that. The room itself was nice enough.
Breakfast was underwhelming, plenty of flies and the odd cat to keep you company (the restaurant is very much indoors). However with under cooked croissants and sweet bread to toast and fried rice if you wanted it you can certainly get along, particularly if you are a fan of over cooked fatty streaky bacon.
The most striking observation was how miserable all the staff were. It is quite a skill to look like you are surveying a restaurant looking out for customers while managing to completely ignore a polite wave for a coffee top up for most of breakfast (and that unfortunately isn't self serve), or failing to clear any plates on your table.
Noone smiles, looks interested or at all like they enjoy their work which is actually very sad and made us wonder about who manages them and how they are treated.
As for the hotel we won't return but it isn't expensive so I guess you get what you pay for.

We had a good time at the Hotel with our room walking out on the swimming pool! Food are nice and good value for money. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel are very good situated with a variety of restaurants close to the hotel.

We arrived at the front desk after a 3 hour drive from Phuket. Greeted at the front desk by a receptionist who offered us a drink and cold wet towels. We were then escorted to our room and were so disappointed. The furniture in the room were so old and used and the room weren't cleaned. We then decided to move our 4 days in Krabi to the holiday Inn which were much cleaner.
This Hotel has lovely views, I wont recommend for experiencing Krabi.

Arrived on a TukTuk which dropped us off at the main road leading to the resort lobby, which is at the bottom of steep slope... LOL. The little Tuk Tuk couldn't make it up to the slope. By the time we reached the open aired lobby, we were sweating like nobody's business and thinking I should have brought along an oxygen tank too...LOL. We were greeted by a few serious looking non-smiling but helpful frontdesk staff with a welcome drink and cool towels. The room we stayed has direct access to the pool which was very good. The room is clean and comes with a extraordinary huge King plus bed and a sofa bed. The featured wall was red which reminded us of Austin Powers's cycledelic kinky honeymoon suite...LOL. The bathroom has a small shower but no bathtub. Our room has a great view of the beautiful mountain which is impressive. The breakfast lounge was ordinary which reminded us of a Mexican doritos restaurant but they provide a good range of both Continental and Asian food for breakfast. Overall, we had a good comfortable stay and a good sleep in this resort after a nite out exploring Ao Nang town. The only thing we feel is a bit of problem was its location is quite far from Ao Nang Beach and climbing those slopes back to the resort... LOL
