Good and sound stay at ktc, very neat and clean, spacious rooms, with very low in price booked through MMT and got a very good deal, don't go directly and ask about room available just book online and get a good deal. U need to ask about towel and soap, don't expect too much, since it is a govt. property.

this is located near to the bus stand...easy to locate...rooms are spacious,neat and clean.....staffs are very friendly.....nice restaurant,foods are ok not good tasty....good parking area.....in the time of night we faced the mosquitoes problem....

Good rooms, the staffs were so friendly, i stayed their for 2 days and the rooms were so nice for a budget range. neat and clean, as the hotel is inside from the road its quiet we can get nice sleep. they provide me boat for the backwater trip, we enjoyed alot.

Martin (one of the receptionists) overpriced a tour that he sold to us. He told us that everyone paid 1000 Rupees for a canal boat ride on one of the small boats. Of the 8 of us on the 2 boats, we paid 1000 rupees, and some of the others paid 900 rupees. We know that as a general rule in India, tourists are regarded as walking atm machines. It would've been nice if Martin could have treated us with some respect, but hey, that's India for you.
He also told us that my boyfriend and I would have a boat to ourselves (plus the rower). That also wasn't true as we had to share the boat with anther couple.
If you do go on one of those tours, please be aware that the breakfast and lunch served to you will be served and cooked with dishes that have been washed in the river. It's extremely unhygenic. I suffered a bad stomach afterwards.
There is also a mosque immediately behind the hotel. We heard the "call to prayer" very clearly, and it was very, very loud.
As with many guesthouses a short distance to the water, there are mosquitoes.

Ktc guest house , best and beautiful in Alappuzha easy from bus stand, we enjoy the room here with friends, best class facilities with affordable price , gre at customer care and also neet conditions, superb
