What People are saying

Decent business hotel

FranzBon 16/05/2017 20:56

I stayed here for two nights in late February. The hotel is good for a business trip with decent sized and modern rooms, good breakfast, parking space directly outside (at a charge) and friendly service. The downside is that is a bit out of town, so you need a taxi to get into the town center. My room was extremely warm during my stay despite the radiators being switched off and it being cold outside. A big weakness is that wifi access is chargeable and does not work very well. Also during breakfast it can get crowded and it might take a bit to find a free spot.
Overall I would have no problem to go back on a short stay, but have stayed in better hotels in Ingolstadt.

Hotel in Ingolstadt

Peter Pon 17/03/2017 06:55

The Hotel is located about 3 km from the centre of the city. The rooms are clean and furnished with new facilities and with big bed. Each rooms has a big window, what sometime disadvantage is,because all people could see over the window in the room from outside. On the top each room is picture of some people, what could be scary for someone. Near the reception is a bar. Breakfast are good.

Average

The hotel is fairly average, though the restaurant is excellent. Staff answered any questions I had but the hotel is miles away from the restaurant and bar district of central Ingolstadt. They charge for parking and wifi access (10Euro per day for wifi, 6.50 for parking). The ceilings have these pictures on them, sort of arty.

Friendly staff, modern rooms, great service!

I stayed for 1 night and had a great experience! Check-in was a breeze and all the employees I encountered offered smiles and great service. There are 2 downsides to the hotel, the astronomical key system they use, it's like a heavy weight and needs to be lugged around - they should change this. Also, an awful wifi system where you need a new code every 4 hours for EACH device you have. Wifi is so commonplace nowadays so they need to upgrade this system too. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal with great options and again friendly, attentive staff.

Not recommendable if one is suicidal

RollsUKon 03/04/2016 08:46

I heard so many good things across the years that I decided to stay in this hotel for a weekend.

The best thing were friendliness of staff and the lobby/bar area, which I find very stylish and well done.

The rooms were a major disappointment though: small, dark, bad lighting, uncomfortable pillows, low windows, so unless one is an exhibitionist one always has to close curtains.

And the breakfast buffet was disappointing too. I went at 9:15 and I had to eat all the left overs. Nothing has been replenished and it looked like a mine field. I wasn't impressed at all.

Even though my family lives around the corner I think I'll not come back to this hotel and I rather try other ones.

If one is suicidal, please chose to stay in any of those dark rooms where the walls are painted dark grey and there the lighting system suggests more like a forecourt to hell than a hotel room. The rooms are an utter design failure.
