Personal attention makes all the difference
Betsy Aon 27/09/2016 23:25Kumru is a modest hotel, but clean and comfortable and within walking distance of the Blue Mosque. Best of all, however, is the personal attention Melissa and Abdul gave us -- arranging transportation, advising on good places to eat, and providing a "family" atmosphere. The neighborhood is exactly that -- a neighborhood of friendly families and small shops and restaurants. An excellent choice in Istanbul.

They help to make our stay super luxury especially Mr. Salih who give us information to discover istanbul and the owner Mr. abdoul who give us a bigger room 😀 They even wait to serve the breakfast late if we didn't get it in time We really enjoy our stay there and sure will be there next time
A Friendly Face in Istanbul

We chose the Kumru Hotel based on recommendations here on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The location is great (close to shops, easy to walk to major attractions) and the hotel owners so friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is quite small but the rooms are large and the breakfast room has a great view. Overall we had a lovely time and would happily return.
Great place to hit Istanbul

We got into port earlier then expected and the hotel was extremely helpful in letting us in and get settled early, they are very flexible and we appreciated it. The location is also very nice as we were able to walk to the blue mosque, the hagia sophia, and wheverever else we wanted in the area. Lots of little restaurants nearby but none overly touristy/pushy. The room was very nice, AC worked, bed comfy. The shower was interesting, just be ready for water to overfloor the shower area but there is a drain so we figured it was all good. The breakfast the next morning was tasty and did the job of filling us up so no complaints there. Definitely worth checking out if in town for only a night.
