Close to CERN and the mountains
doeniguson 29/07/2017 22:30Residence is close to the CERN main site and reachable by car or public transportation (+walking).
The breakfast is very good and the personnel very helpful.
Closeby is a supermarket.
I can clearly recommend this hotel for a work trip connected to CERN visits.

Edelweiss_9on 15/07/2017 22:52This hotel is a positive surprise for me. Good room, sure some dust around and carpet needs updating, but staff is great, Pieter at the desk definitely makes your day, the other man is very helpful also and breakfast is excellent.
Nice quiet rooms at the back. It is worth it and a very good address.

Jax3501on 22/06/2017 16:32We picked this hotel because Sunday evening in the middle of nowhere makes a restaurant rather important. Closed on Sunday! Says nothing on their website or Booking.com website about this. Add to that the general rundown appearance, the fact that with the outside temperature reaching 34dgs that day, the air conditioning wasn't working in the hotel and neither was the card machine that gives you access to your room. This meant every time you left your room you had to ask the man at reception to let you in. Most of the time he wasn't there, he was opening doors for people!
The room was basic, the bed comfortable, the pillows awful and the room overall was dirty. And what fool built a wardrobe by the bed so you couldn't open it?! Booking.com and Kyriad need to re-think offering this hotel until it is refurbished extensively 😡
A Suprise
mlynnf50on 19/04/2017 12:49After reading the reviews on here I was a bit apprehensive to say the least !!! We arrived at aboyt 5 ish and was made welcome by the man on reception. Our room was on the second floor, the way up to our room was tired but clean, this has low roof so it give the immpresion of bring a bit dismal and maybe the carpet coukd be replacd, but it was fine and not at all as bad as I expected. The room was nice for the price, much better than anticipated and we were supprised, We had a lovely nights sleep and would definately stay here again, ver nice for the low price.
Very tired hotel
Peter Son 28/09/2016 16:23This hotel is not a 3 star. Over all the hotel is in need of a complete make over. Carpets everywhere are dirty and warn (wear socks), and exterior is in need of paint and repair. Do not eat in the restaurant, food is bland and tasteless. Clearly this is a motel/hotel struggling to survive or the owner is not prepared to do even basic maintenance. Manager appeared to be run off his feet, dealing with a computer system that was down when we arrived at the 3PM check in time as well as finish making up rooms, including the one assigned to my wife an I which was filthy.
