Magical Stay for A Reasonable Price

I stayed here in April 2017 for 2 nights. This hotel was ideal for my mother and I who were looking for a short break to experience Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary. This was our first time staying outside of the Disney Properties, but I would happily return!

The easiest way to get to the hotel from any Paris airport is Disneys Magical Shuttle which after dropping off at the Disney Hotels will then drop off at the Kyriad and surrounding properties. It cost us $43 euros each for a return ticket from Charles De Gualle.

The rooms at the Kyriad are basic, but are clean and spacious. We had a lovely view of the gardens on the bottom floor, next to the restaurant however it wasn't noisy and we were able to sleep soundlessly. There aren't any amenities such as tea/coffee making facilities in the room however they do have vending machines that offer express hot drinks in the reception.

Check in at the reception was quick and easy, just ensure that you have a copy of your reference (email or printed) as we did see some customers having issues with this. There is a games room with air hockey, arcade games and a pool table and they have a bar just next to the reception which does a range of cocktails, wines, beers and soft drinks. You're also able to get breakfast/lunch options here if you're looking for something on the go.

The only aspect of our stay that we didn't enjoy was the cooked breakfast. This included poultry sausages, mixed bacon (back & streaky) which was quite fatty, and other traditional cooked items. As well as this there was a selection of cold meats, and pastries. We found that when one item was finished it was not restocked, which lead to a lot of waiting around. The food is personal preference however, and there were lots of families enjoying it! For 13 euros per person I feel that it was quite expensive for how little we ate, so I would suggest having breakfast in the village or the parks for the same cost.

The main attraction of this hotel was its closeness to Disneyland Paris. The bus number 54 stops right outside the hotel and runs every 10-15 minutes and takes you to Marne La Vallée - Chessy train station which is next to Disney Village and the entrance to the parks. This shuttle runs late into the evening, even after the park closes so you have plenty of time to explore Disney after dark! Be aware though the buses do get quite busy and crowded, with no queue system at the bus stops.

I would happily return to this hotel as it was an affordable price, and let us enjoy a magical break while staying at a clean and comfortable hotel.

Magical stay at great family hotel

We arrived on a Tuesday the 16th May, to a friendly and warm greeting. The room was spotless, bright and we had a wonderful view that was facing the area where the animals that belonged to the hotel are kept, see photo no. 2.

The breakfast was good with a wide choice of both continental and cooked food (the yogurt and fruit were exceptional) the coffee was very good and fresh, there was loads of everything.

The games area near the reception was great fun and both kids loved it. The staff helped by printing some tickets I had on email, this was really helpful and very much appreciated. There was a pet area at the back of the hotel which was small but nice, also the bouncy castle was a thoughtful addition and was used by a large number of the smaller kids.

The only negative really was the evening Buffet as it was not the best value. The choice on the evening that we were there wasn't great, so we decided to use the outside catering also provided by the hotel where fish and chips were €6 and there was also sausages and chicken on that menu. The fish and chips were very good and excellent value, we had them more than once.

The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful at all times they are truly an asset to the hotel.

The location was very close to Disneyland and had a free transfer service that came every 20 mins both to and from the hotel.

We used the local taxi service to the local shopping centre which had very expensive shops but if you walk to the end of these there is a massive shopping mall with everything you could want including an aquarium. Return for a family of four was €14 which was great value.

Overall I would recommend this hotel for its staff, location and value.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. We visited Disneyland Paris for 3 days and needed a hotel which was close to the park and which was also comfortable and clean. This hotel ticked all the boxed for us. The rooms were clean, there was a television and free wifi. There didn't seem to be any limit on the wifi as there were four of us in the room and we all used it every evening.

The breakfast was nice, buffet style, and plenty of options. There was a bar in the hotel and there was also a little gift shop and a place to buy ice cream.

Staff were very friendly. We needed to access a printer while we were there and they were very obliging.

We bought our tickets for the park at reception and this made life easier when we got to the park. Free shuttle buses go between the hotel and the park and they were very regular. We were expecting them to be full and cramped but we didn't experience this.

Overall, this hotel was great! Excellent value for money, friendly staff and ideal location!

Amazing hotel would go back tomorrow if I could

This hotel was definitely outstanding. I went here on a school trip a few years back and everything was amazing in the hotel. The reception staff were really nice and very friendly and happy to help at anytime, there are a few games such as pool in the lobby area, the rooms and hotel itself are spotless and the beds were extremely comfy, I loved the layout of the hotel with the main reception and then the two dorms as what I would call it with the layout of them, literally everything was perfect and I could not have asked for any better. I stayed in the dorm to the right and the rooms as I said were very clean and were very relaxing. You would not have heard a sound all night which guaranteed a brilliant nights sleep. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and very well maintained. The breakfast was a continental breakfast and was really well cooked and was very tasty to eat. The staff again were very friendly and made you feel very comfortable in the hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, really loved this hotel. I created so many memories here that I will never forget. Thanks Hotel Kyraid staff I can't wait to return here in the future.

Had a fab 3 night stay here with friends. Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Great service to and from the Disneyland park and nearby train station. Overall great trip, definitely be back
