What People are saying

Good solid hotel

Dana Pon 17/06/2017 03:11

Compared to many European hotels the rooms were larger though not as large as American hotels. The bathrooms were very modern and well done. Breakfast was very good and part of the stay. Had ample food and variety and a good amount of tables to sit down and eat. The hotel is within walking distance to a laundrette if you need to wash clothes and there is a market across the street as well. also in walking distance to shopping etc. Good solid hotel.

Adequate

The hotel had a good breakfast range and clean rooms. You could almost see through the towels, however, they were so thin. The beds were comfortable.
Room service did not cover the refilling of tea/coffee/paper and plastic cups. It was left to guests to chase these up. Several guests had evidence that no vacuuming was ever done in their rooms

Great Hotel

Traveled here with a high school French Club tour booked through CHA Educational tours. Hotels for trip were picked by tour company. This hotel was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to many eateries.

Great price, good room, standard hotel

Located centrally, contemporary and clean rooms with both heating and air conditioner. Double glaze window onto main avenue allows fresh air into the room. Slept at night with the window open on a 3rd floor room facing the avenue apart from some cars passing it was relatively quiet with no loud pedestrian or noises from venues nearby. Tea/coffee and electric kettle in room although only one black tea and one green teabag provided. If anything was a let down it was the towels strangely enough, old and quite thin. Friendly and helpful staff with excellent English

Would not return

Pros: parking, reasonably priced. Generally friendly and helpful staff. Good location, right across from a Carrefour and a quick walk to the city center, near several restaurants

Cons: Problems with the rooms cleanliness and housekeeping. The first room we were given was not clean, so we were quickly and courteously moved to another. In fairness, that replacement room had not been prepared for guests, though it was stocked with what it should have had. But the floors, especially the entry and many of the room's corners, especially behind doors, were not clean, and never were during our four-day stay, though we alerted them after the first day. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Bathroom trash was not emptied, toilet paper and towels not restocked. One of the lamps had a short, and though we alerted them to the exposed wires, it was never removed or replaced. I had a small argument with one of the managers when I requested shampoo and cups, and was told that what we got initially was a "welcome gift" and after that, our hair was on its own--and I had to fight for toilet paper. Apparently, the concept of the "Hospitality" industry only goes so far with this place. But that manager was later very helpful in arranging dinner reservations for us. Still, they need to keep their rooms clean (see attached photos).
