A beautiful and cozy place
stealth983on 03/05/2017 19:23This is a court located near the main attractive places in Bergamo. The corner of the poet has several cozy rooms furnished in typical Italian style. Paolo, the host, is very sympathetic and help guests feel comfortable.
Very nice stay
Olaf Bon 03/05/2017 16:08If you look for a nice accommodation in Bergamo you can hrer stop searching. Angolo del Poeta is a place we shall book again without hesitation. This is a B&B of its finest. It partly covers parts of a 15th century building. The pictures on their homepage are representing what you will find. A nice cosy spot, in convenient distance ti the Cita Alta. However, there is more to Bergamo than its old centre.
The owners are very attentative to the wishes of the guests, which makes a big difference. Go for the shuttle service they offer. If you are lucky the transport will be in a Jaguar limousine :D

sommarcattaon 13/09/2016 19:25We only stayed one night due to late arrival to Malpensa. Chose a B&B at Bergamo bassa so that we would skip the hassle with driving at the restricted area in Bergamo alta. We got directions from the owner where to find their garage and the code to the gate. From there it was an easy five minutes walk. The cost, 10 Euro is well worth it and you pay at the B&B. Once you've passed the restaurant Gennaro and Pia you are close. Use the entrance code, head two flights and you'll find the reception. Since we arrived after opening hours, our key was left there with instructions.
We had room 21 with entrance from the breakfast room. It was huge with stairs leading to a second bedroom and a big bathtub. Aircon worked perfectly and we even had to turn it of as it got too cold!
Breakfast was ok. With many guests at the same time they couldn' replenish the items. Owner very nice and helpful. A good choice if visiting Bergamo.

We enjoyed everything - friendly and helpful owner, who takes care of every detail - even how to nicely arranged fruits on the plate, beautiful house, stylish eclectic spacious two floor apartment - very clean, equipped with a fridge, kettle, towels, tasty breakfast (with delicious coffee made by a lady from Burkina Faso) at a common table to location - walking distance from the city center and close to bus stops.
Hope to return someday to this beautiful stylish place... :)
Budget-Friendly Hotel
tourist_binichon 27/05/2016 09:35Hotel has no Signage outside so you have to ask locals for direction. Rooms are very nice with paintings on it but loud during the night because its within a living quarter. Yes, its within the old town and its very convenient for sightseeing. Parking space can be difficult during the day since the street outside is very narrow. To sum it up, it was still a nice place to stay.
