What People are saying
Village hotel, quiet and classy.

Four of us on a motorcycle tour. We chose Le Bergerie simply because of it's convenient location on our road trip route. Rooms are good value, but expect meal prices to reflect the quality that they most certainly are. The Angus Steaks are awesome. This is a classy place, situated in a village about 40 miles from Luxembourg, with easy access to the A4 and A30 motorways (that is not to say they're within earshot).
Being the only eatery/hostelry in the village, Le Bergerie gets very busy in the evening. We booked for 9pm and still waited almost to the point of frustration. The overworked staff did what they could but, being French, have little concept of humility or customer satisfaction. Inside was full, so we asked to be seated at an outside table so we could eat together and before we went to bed. This was eventually arranged but, again, it felt we were putting staff out. This is a small matter and we ended up with a smile on our faces so we left it at that.
Rooms are large and comfortable. Parking is on large garvelled areas to the front and rear. Not ideal for motorbikes, but a few hard standings can be found if you keep your eyes open - just to the left of the reception entrance is one.
I would recommend Le Bergerie for couples and small groups, romantics and families.
Romantic interior, delicious breakfast, and friendly people

We stayed at this lovely hotel on our trip back home with our two kids (1+3). The hotel is decorated with a lovely, romantic interior with a mix of modern and old(-style) furniture. The breakfast was typically French (croissants, jam, coffee, cheese, muesli, etc) and delicious. The lady who served us in the morning, was friendly. Much more than the one we spoke at the phone the evening of our arrival. So all in all, for us a nice stopover on the way back home.
Nice room Great restaurant.

Picked this hotel as a half way stop going from CDG airport to Germany.
Reception was very curtious and helpful with the storage of my wife's medication.
The room was a typical size for a Logis de France hotel with a great walk in shower.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and were not disappointed with the service and quality of the fixed price menu. The wine selection is vast and has a verity from which to select. The breakfast was also typical French but okay.
Overall we made an excellent choice to start our travels and would definitely stay there again. The staff of this hotel are truly great.
Convenient location but isolated

Nice hotel conveniently located just off the motorway. Picturesque building. Located in a village (Rugy) but there is NOTHING else there. Rooms were nice, clean, comfortable beds, good bathroom, good wifi, basically nothing to complain about. Room was reasonably priced but the breakfast was very pricey. There is a restaurant. Make sure to reserve when you check in and state that you want to sit on the terrace (if that is the case). Menus were reasonably priced but the drinks were ridiculously expensive. Some of the staff were downright rude to some guests which made us feel quite uncomfortable. Very obvious that local guests are favored before tourists. Ample free parking space. Had this review been about the hotel only, I would have rated it a 4, but with the attitude of the staff in the restaurant and the pricing policy on wines/drinks in general and breakfast, it gets a 3.
Handy stopover

Nice place, shame about the bed.
This is my second time of staying here. A good stop and very convenient just off the motorway whilst driving back from Austria to Oxford.
Restaurant was lovely and pretty with really good food though not cheap. Loved the decor. The staff looked after us well. Our room was quite adequate and clean - brilliant shower. However the bed was so uncomfortable, as was the one we slept in last year but in a different room (which I had initially forgotten about). My husband and I hardly slept which was not good with a long drive ahead of us that day. Because of that we will not be staying there again.
