Beautiful hotel with quaint vintage decor, right next to the main park in Ahuachapan. Entrance is on a nice lane way with cafes and a nice alfresco atmosphere. Very clean, confortable beds, good wifi, great roof terrace, accomodating and kind staff, good value for money. A great first or last stop along the Ruta de las Flores!

An impressive colonial house, with all the comforts to stay with family and comfortable spaces to work.
Free wifi with good speed, and the best, a very nice roof terrace for breakfast or to read a good book.

I have stayed at La Casa de Mamapan several times and have loved it each time. THe wonderful owners and staff and the home like setting are fantastic. I plan to go back soon to my home away from home in Ahuachapan!

We stayed here for two nights whilst touring El Salvador. The hotel itself is pretty cute and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast however was poor on both occasions so we resulted in going across the street to the square for pupusas.
There is very little to do here and we found the restaurant in the hotel to be closed in the evening which was a pain, especially as there is little else in the town.
We visited a few more towns on the Ruta de Flores and would recommend staying i one of the bigger ones if you prefer to have choice in dining and thongs to do in the evening

I stayed here with an Intrepid group, so I can't speak to the value for price. But the rooms are very nice (although some are quite small), the staff was helpful, filtered water is available. Located right across from the Cathedral, the hotel is in a historic building with lots of charming decor, like a collection of manual typewriters and rocking chairs in the lobby. Was very happy with our stay (but did not take the hotel's breakfast--cheaper to go out for breakfast). There is a cute coffee shop and a crepe place nextdoor, but either are open early in the morning.
