Lovely hotel
_otto_kathyon 02/06/2017 20:50This was a lovely place to spend a night in Santa Marta and the receptionist Geraldine went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. We stayed in a very large suite with excellent air conditioning and the breakfast was very tasty.
Excellent Santa Marta Hotel
soloraine2011on 29/05/2017 19:29This hotel (the Paris Suite) was our home away from home while in Santa Marta. The staff were wonderful, the room was spacious and well appointed and the location was terrific. The breakfast was delicious and they make a great traditional gin & tonic. We ended up staying longer than expected due to a medical issue, and we really didn't mind......it was a nice spot to regroup and relax. If in Santa Marta again, we will stay there again no question.
delightful hotel, super staff
Gemma050982on 22/03/2017 00:27Had a delightful stay in a few of the rooms in casa del farol. the rooms were cool and comfy, staff really lovely, and hotel well located. sundowners on the roof by the pool a particular delight!
i'd say the only let down was the breakfast/breakfast staff - mediocre on both accounts.
Solid Option in the Historic Center of Santa Marta
lcgaitanon 05/03/2017 22:50No complaints (I stayed in the Simon Bolivar room) on the third floor. Room was clean, staff was excellent and the breakfast was great. I loved that they gave you options and the food was fresh (not always the case in Colombia). WIFI connection was poor on the third floor and the pool area was messy but everything else was outstanding.
Bad experience
maredisiciliaon 26/02/2017 11:41I was there with my family, it was considered a boutique hotel, but i think it's a dirty 3 stars hotel. It needs a complete restyling, we had a junior suite in very bad conditon. The near rundown neighborhood is very dirty and caotic. Good breakfast and gin tonic, kind dining room staff.
