Romance on the coast
Laura Bon 25/05/2017 21:39Lovely hotel, a bit of adventure to get there through town, Honfleur surprised us and was enchanting beyond the touristy streets. Service impeccable and friendly. Breakfast was French perfection! Spa was very disappointing, hot tubs not hot, and changing rooms poorly apoointed, no products or robes, strange for a five star hotel, but the pool was fun! Do enjoy!
Delicious food, nice place, weird service
Louis Don 22/05/2017 08:12The place is exceptional with a spectacular view on the Seine Estuary, and the building is full of charm, the room was very comfortable, the food was original and delicious. The only dark spot was the service, somewhat arrogant, autocratic and not extremely helpful,

Not cheap, but worth the splurge.
Staff could not be nicer or more helpful.
Grounds are beautiful.
It's out of the bustle of the tourist area, but an easy 10 minute walk to the center of Honfleur.
I'd skip the restaurant. Service is professional and super attentive, but food and wine are substantially overpriced.

pialeonon 11/05/2017 11:43We stayed in a room with the heating stuck to the max, so slept with open window but in the morning builders started their works and the noce was terrible. The friendly people of the reseption solved this by switching us into a nice suite. The bar tender Mr Emile Trinquet is the gentleman to meet if you want great info on the regional drinks including all historey of calvados. Maybe avoid the restaurant as the kitchen and the sommelier do a graet job but that is ruined by waiters who hate to work, their jobs or their life not sure but definetly a problem for this lovely and enchanting place.
Terrible visit
34garrettmon 20/04/2017 12:29The stay was unpleasant and overpriced. Meant to be a break from Paris for a night and also a place to investigate it became a nightmare upselling uncomfortable experience. Unfriendly and pretentious!
