The stay of several days in this hotel offers all you can wish: a nice room with excellent beds, good access (elevator), nice breakfast with many guests simultaneously and above all friendly and very helpful host. Recommended for one night stay over or several days to venture in the lovely area.

The owner of the hotel and his wife are the kindest and most helpful staff I've ever seen.
The hotel was very clean, though in some place a little decrepit.
The views from the rooms are beautiful.
The breakfast is just OK.

Hotel was a little dated, with fitted sheets on the beds. The rooms could do with some decorating and revamping. The owners were great and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was a cold buffet. We had an evening meal in the hotel and the food was fantastic far better than we had anywhere else. They also had an indoor pool which the children loved. Our rooms had fantastic views.

my friend and i stayed here on october 4th 2012 for 1 night en route to italy from england. we called to make a reservation a couple of hours before arriving there and the lady who spoke to me in english was very nice and helpful. as we were arriving very late at night she gave me the codes to get into the hotel and told me she would leave a key on the front desk for the room. the hotel is lovely and clean. it is comfortable and has a friendly feel about it. my friend and i would recommend this hotel to anybody. breakfast was a little dissapointing but the positives outnumber this 1 negative.

We stayed three nights in this hotel on a half-board basis and paid 127 euros per night for 2 people.
The hotel is located just outside the town centre of Besse (5 minutes' walk) and has its own car park. Out room was clean and reasonably-sized, although the bathroom was relatively small (with shower rather than bath).
Breakfasts were copious with choice of tea/coffee/chocolate, fruit juice, croissant, bread, cereals, ham, cheese, yoghurts and fruit.
Dinner was a fixed four-course menu on our package. The portions were very large and the food was representative of French home-style cooking. Note: alternative dishes were available if required.
There was a light and airy bar with reasonably-priced draught beers. The staff were friendly and helpful giving us advice on local attractions and providing us with a free pass to access ski lifts in Super-Besse, etc.
There is a small indoor swimming pool where swimming hats must be worn.
There is free wi-fi access in the hotel.
The hotel would be busy in winter with skiers but is also an ideal base in summer for walkers and general holiday makers in the Auvergne region.
